A Doctor Who Runs a Business: The Day Before a Business Trip to China (feat. YouTube, Fine Dining, Shopping)

Hello.

I’m O Ga-na, a dermatologist with 16 years of experience.​

In my last post, I showed you my daily life

as a business owner.

This time, I came to China on a business trip

for an advertisement shoot.

Today, I’d like to briefly introduce

the day before the shoot.

How I enjoy business trips like a trip (visiting great restaurants)

People around me often ask,

"You’re busy with patient care and overseas business trips,

so nonstop like that—aren’t you tired?"

I try to enjoy business trips like trips.

The method is simple.

Find restaurants that you can only eat at

in the place where you’re traveling.

(This filming business trip is the same.)

When I taste special food,

it naturally feels like I’m traveling,

and my mood gets better.

Peking duck and barbecue pork, with the skin being the highlight.

I always look forward to tasting the unique foods

of that country or region,

and I usually get local restaurant recommendations

and make sure to go.

The four kinds of dim sum were really chewy and delicious.

Even though it’s a business trip, these small pleasures

always give me new energy.

The day before the shoot, an unexpected wardrobe issue

As always, even the day before a shoot,

something unexpected tends to come up.

During a meeting, we realized that there weren’t enough outfits

suited for the main shoot,

so following the stylist’s suggestion,

we decided to prepare a new casual-style outfit.

Suddenly, I went shopping with the filming staff

at a department store

and bought the clothes we needed.

(At times like this, getting help from experts

is the fastest solution.)

The final choice was Givenchy.

It matched the shoot concept well,

so it was a satisfying choice.

For reference, I’ve never bought Givenchy before,

so I’m a little curious whether the clothes I bought this time

will also be easy to wear in Korea.

These days, I’ve been spending busy days

I also had a new and exciting experience.

For me, running a business feels like a hobby,

and enjoying business trips like travel

seems to be one of my small joys in life.
