Hello.
I’m Oh Gana, a dermatologist with 16 years of experience.
These days, while seeing patients,
there is something more frightening than acne.
It is a damaged skin barrier.
Even if sebum is reduced and scars are treated,
if the barrier does not recover,
acne keeps recurring.
Today, I’d like to talk in detail about the “skin correction program”
while focusing on barrier recovery in acne treatment.
Patient’s condition (woman in her 30s)
A patient who was too busy to pay attention to her skin
Photographed at her first visit on May 23, 2024.
(This photo was taken and posted with the patient’s consent.
Unauthorized use is prohibited.)

Left: appearance inside the skin / Right: appearance on the skin surface
<Inside-the-skin photo >
Pink, glossy areas = sebum + bacteria
<Surface photo >
Oily on the outside, dry on the inside, red and sensitive
An oily skin type with inner dryness: oily on the outside but dry inside.
With the skin barrier weakened,
acne, redness, pores, and pigmentation
were all worsening at the same time.
So the conclusion I reached was
Damaged skin barrier
Recovery comes first
Acne, redness, pores, and dryness
tend to move as a set.
Acne treatment plan revealed (Plan A / Plan B)
Based on the patient’s skin condition and response,
we alternated between Plan A and Plan B
and carried out treatment step by step.
Plan A
-
SmoothBeam (sebum suppression)
-
Vbeam Perfecta (improves redness)
-
GentleMax Pro (removes fine facial hair + stabilizes pores)
Plan B
-
PlasmaM (improves skin texture)
-
PQ4 laser (suppresses pigmentation)
-
MarcuX (removes existing pigmentation)
Final results (11 months, total of 10 treatments)
Inside-the-skin photo
< Changes inside the skin >
Sebum secretion was stably controlled
Dark marks improved by more than 90%
Surface photo
< Changes on the skin surface >
Redness improved, blemish marks calmed, and skin texture improved
One regret is that the patient could not visit consistently,
so the treatment interval became longer
and it took a total of 11 months.
Compliance is what determines the speed of skin treatment.
Wrapping up acne treatment..
A good complexion is something everyone wants,
but most people either fail because they don’t know the method
or dismiss it after just a few inexpensive procedures.

✔️ A clinic that can take responsibility until the end
✔️ A patient who keeps coming in regularly
Only when these two come together can the skin change.
At our clinic,
we take responsibility for that process
through the skin correction program.
If you’re struggling with acne,
now may be the best time to start.
Thank you for reading this long post.
