Why Did a 300,000-Subscriber YouTuber Start a New Channel? (feat. Today, Ogana Too)

Hello.

I’m Opride Ogana.

Today, I want to share news about a new YouTube channel.

My new channel name is

"Today, Ogana Too"

As the name suggests, it’s a channel that captures today’s Ogana.^^

It has only been about two weeks since the channel launched,

so there aren’t many subscribers yet,

but I plan to grow it slowly and steadily.

So far, “Opride” has centered on

car reviews and a high-end lifestyle,

with fast-paced, attention-grabbing content.

But now that I’m in my 40s,

my direction in life and my perspective have changed.

From now on, instead of speed, I want to show balance; instead of specs, everyday life.

I’d like to share a calmer today.

So while keeping Opride,

a channel with 300,000 subscribers,

I’ve also started a new channel,

“Today, Ogana Too.”

It won’t be completely different from the previous channel.

I plan to casually and steadily share various topics such as

everyday life, business, skincare tips, travel, and restaurants.

(For reference, some daily vlogs will continue to be uploaded to Opride.)

Q. So are you no longer doing car content?

Not at all. My affection for cars is still the same.

I’m not as obsessed with cars as I used to be,

but if I buy a new one or if an important new car is released,

I’ll introduce it from time to time.^^

The way I want to live from now on

What I value most these days

is work-life balance.

I work hard,

but at the same time

I value hobbies like travel and golf,

and spending time with good people.

How happily am I living?

Looking back, when I had plenty of leisure,

it was actually easy to become lazy.

I grew more when I was hungry, struggling, and pressed for time.

I want to keep that sense of tension going forward as well.

and the things I’ve learned, more calmly

and more faithfully, on a steady basis.
