Hello.
I am Ogana, a dermatologist with 16 years of experience.

Today, I’d like to talk about a laser device that genuinely excited me after a long time.
It is called "UltraClear."
The Birth of a New Laser Paradigm
Because laser devices are used every day,
I always look at new devices with a very critical eye.
That’s because their advantages, disadvantages, and limitations must be assessed accurately.

Recently, I was invited as a speaker at the UltraClear launch seminar
and had time to share my real-world experience and know-how.
That shows how long I have been testing this device.
During that process, UltraClear clearly felt different from existing fractional lasers.
It is a proven device that is already well known overseas.
UltraClear was
first introduced in the United States and Europe, and especially in pigmentation and scar treatment, case reports have steadily accumulated. Overseas, its effectiveness and safety have already been sufficiently proven.

Even so, it has not been widely introduced in Korea.
That is because the device is expensive, requires a difficult setup, and can only be properly utilized when the physician deeply understands its structure.
So from a clinic’s perspective, caution is only natural,
and I also compared several devices and decided to introduce it only after thorough testing.
A laser that combines the strengths of CO2 and erbium:YAG

UltraClear uses a 2910 nm wavelength.
Because this wavelength has a high water absorption rate,
its energy is delivered to the skin very cleanly and precisely.
It is a laser that combines the strengths of CO2 and erbium:YAG in one.
It evens out the epidermis uniformly
and penetrates deep into the dermis to induce regeneration while keeping thermal damage low.

So it tends to offer a good degree of improvement relative to downtime.
I felt that it does a good job of compensating for the structural limitations of existing fractional lasers.
Finally... Why I Chose UltraClear
When I choose a new device,
I always check the same standard first.
"Can I use this on my own face?"
Because only if I am confident in that answer can I confidently recommend it to my patients as well.
UltraClear was the first device in a long time that met this standard.
In terms of being able to precisely design multiple layers,
it has a very wide range of clinical applications.
The main areas that can be approached with UltraClear are as follows.
-Pigmentation
-Skin texture
-Pores
-Deep wrinkles
-Acne scars
With one laser, all treatments are possible
As with any device,
there are also some drawbacks.
Because the device is relatively expensive,
even I, who usually decide on device introduction quickly, had to think about it a bit.

Although laser device prices have generally been rising recently,
I do wish it had been a little more reasonable.
Even so, considering its technical completeness and clinical potential,
it was a device worth choosing.
Thank you for reading this long post.
