Hello.
I am Oga, a dermatologist with 17 years of experience.
In my previous post,
I talked about the third-generation skin booster, Gouri,
focusing on how it differs from existing products
and my own experience receiving the procedure.

In this post,
based on experience treating more than 1,000 patients,
I’d like to summarize what kind of changes actually occurred
and which skin types showed particularly good results.
(If this is your first time hearing about Gouri injection,
please refer to the previous post first.)

Why Gouri is being chosen in this era
The actual effects of Gouri based on clinical experience with more than 1,000 cases
The changes that patients actually mention most often
can be broadly divided into three things.
-
The skin texture became smoother
-
The skin tone became brighter
-
Natural volume and elasticity improved
When texture, tone, and elasticity all improve together,
we often get the impression
that the person has taken good care of their skin.

Gouri is closer to a treatment that gradually changes the skin structure
and tidies up the overall appearance
than to a procedure that simply adds moisture.
So rather than a single specific change,
there tend to be many responses saying that
the overall appearance of the skin improved.
Are there specific skin types that Gouri injection suits well?
It is not a treatment that can be applied
in the same way to all skin types.
For people with thick, firm skin

When used as a skin booster on the epidermal side,
it shows good effects for moisture and skin texture improvement.
For people with thin skin and not much facial fat

In particular, if hollow cheeks or under-eye hollowness are a concern,
an approach from the deeper layer can help reinforce elasticity
while providing a natural, not excessive volumizing effect.

The important point is not creating volume,
but strengthening the supporting structure naturally.
Why Gouri is being chosen in this era
In today’s skin procedures,
the most important standards are clear.
It must be safe,
it must look natural,
and it must not remain on the skin.
The biggest limitation of existing collagen-inducing procedures
has been side effects that can remain like nodules.

But
Gouri is a liquid PCL without particles,
so it spreads without clumping and breaks down slowly
while inducing collagen production.
Rather than causing a noticeable change in just one area,
you can expect a natural improvement in the overall
texture, tone, and elasticity of the skin,
and I think this is exactly why Gouri is being chosen in this era.
This is how I organized my thoughts on Gouri injection
based on actual clinical experience,
from my own perspective.
There is currently an event related to Gouri
at the Cheongdam branch,
so if you are considering a safe skin booster,
it may be worth taking a look.
