First, rhinitis is broadly divided into allergic rhinitis and
structural rhinitis for treatment.
Allergic rhinitis is primarily treated with
ongoing medication or
improving your constitution.
Structural rhinitis, namely a deviated septum,
refers to a case where the septum, which acts like a partition
dividing our nostrils into two,
is bent.
If the septum is bent, one side of the nose becomes wider
and the other side becomes narrower, making normal breathing difficult,
but it can be sufficiently improved with rhinitis surgery and nose reshaping.
Cosmetic nose surgery and rhinitis surgery can be performed at the same time,
and this is called functional rhinoplasty.
When surgery for a deviated septum is performed,
the septal cartilage is straightened, and the removed
septal cartilage is used for tip reshaping, which is why
this is a highly preferred rhinitis surgery and nose reshaping method.
