3. When the nasal tip is drooping - A columellar strut is placed to firmly fix the weak, drooping tip cartilage, and then additional autologous cartilage is placed on the supported tip cartilage to correct the shape of the nasal tip.

4. When the nasal tip is broad - The spread tip cartilages are brought together and firmly fixed through tip cartilage suturing. (If bringing the cartilages together does not produce sufficient results, autologous cartilage grafting is necessary.)
