As materials used for upturned nose surgery, the nose tip is extended with autologous cartilage for a short nose tip, and the bridge is operated on with silicone. If the nasal bridge is already high, there are also non-implant cases in which only the nose tip is corrected with autologous cartilage.

Upturned nose surgery may look simple from the outside, but because it is classified as one of the more difficult types of nose surgery, it is best to have the surgery performed at a place where the medical team has strong anatomical knowledge of the nose and extensive experience, after accurately analyzing the cause and proceeding with the appropriate surgical method. There are broadly two methods for upturned nose surgery. First, when the nose tip is only mildly upturned, a strong support cartilage is grafted between the columella,

and after fixing the nose tip cartilage so it does not move, the overall nose line is refined with autologous cartilage grafting at the nose tip.

Second, when the nose tip is severely upturned, the length is sufficiently extended using strong autologous cartilage,

and after autologous cartilage grafting to the nose tip, the overall nose line is refined.

However, to correct an upturned nose / snub nose more definitively, Nplus performs at least two or more different combined corrective procedures.

We aim for highly satisfying upturned nose surgery by selectively performing septal extension surgery to lower the upturned nose tip, a columellar support to firmly fix the nose tip so it does not turn up again, and skin extension and cartilage grafting to satisfy both nose tip height and length.
