Hello. We are Gangnam & Plus, a clinic that has spent the past 16 years focusing only on your healthy and beautiful nose.
The topic we are introducing this time is a nose tip surgery review.

These days, since people say appearance is also part of one’s qualifications, everyone has become more interested in looks and is trying to take better care of themselves. As a result, people often try dieting, skin care, or changing their makeup, and in addition to these efforts, some also consider cosmetic procedures for greater satisfaction. Among these, the nose, which is the most three-dimensional part of the face, draws a lot of attention. When the nose is low, the tip is upturned, or the tip is broad, many people become more interested in nose tip surgery reviews.

It is usually called rhinoplasty, and because it can create a clearer impression by raising the bridge and lifting the tip of the nose, the level of satisfaction with the surgery can be high. However, these days, the trend is toward a natural and smooth nose shape that preserves one’s individuality. As a result, people who want a natural shape suited to their face, or who want only the nose tip to be refined, are looking into nose tip surgery reviews.

That is why it is important to find a nose line that suits your image and proceed with the most efficient method before surgery. If nose tip surgery is performed without identifying internal functional issues, focusing only on external stress, it can lead to revision surgery. When undergoing nose tip surgery, it should be done at a place where the inside of the nose can also be examined. Even though it may seem relatively simple because only the tip of the nose is being operated on, the nose is an organ responsible for our sense of smell and breathing, and its internal structure is more complex than many people think. Therefore, for those considering nose tip surgery, it is important to look at nose tip surgery reviews, but if you judge only by cost or design, leaning too heavily toward cosmetic rhinoplasty, satisfaction may be significantly lower.

At Gangnam & Plus, to help ensure a satisfying nose tip surgery review, we check the inside of the nose before surgery using 3D-CT imaging and internal endoscopic imaging, thoroughly confirming even the functional aspects inside the nose before proceeding with a surgical method that suits the individual.

Nose tip surgery can be broadly divided into four types.
-
When the nose tip is low
-
When the nose tip is upturned
-
When the nose tip droops
-
When the nose tip is broad

The main materials used for nose tip surgery are autologous cartilage, including septal cartilage, ear cartilage, and autologous rib cartilage. If there is not enough autologous cartilage, surgery is performed using donated rib cartilage.

First, when the nose tip is low, additional autologous cartilage is grafted on top of the nose tip cartilage to correct the tip.

Second, when the nose tip is upturned, a columellar strut is placed to prevent the nose from turning up, or after septal extension, additional autologous cartilage is used on the supported tip cartilage to correct the shape of the nose tip.

Third, when the nose tip droops, a columellar strut is placed to firmly secure the tip, and then additional autologous cartilage is placed on the supported tip cartilage for correction.

Lastly, when the nose tip is broad, the spread nasal cartilages are gathered and firmly fixed, and then autologous cartilage grafting is additionally performed for correction.

As shown above, nose tip surgery varies from person to person depending on the characteristics of each individual's nasal septal cartilage, surrounding soft tissue, skin thickness, and bone structure. Therefore, rather than simply looking at nose tip surgery reviews and deciding based on whether it seems similar to your own nose, we recommend carefully checking the characteristics described above and proceeding with the nose shape and surgical method that suit you. It is also advisable to look for a clinic with many surgical cases and extensive experience and expertise, as that can lead to a more satisfying nose tip surgery review.

At Gangnam & Plus, to help ensure a satisfying nose tip surgery review, Director Yoon Hyun-cheol provides a high-level plastic surgery service, and every step—from rhinoplasty consultation and surgical planning to the procedure, treatment, and follow-up visits—is handled 1:1 by a dedicated specialist.

Lastly, another important point to check is whether aftercare is also thorough. At Plus, in addition to a free A/S system that guarantees support for one year after surgery, we also operate a surgical responsibility guarantee system in preparation for all possible situations such as post-surgical pain, inflammation, or dissatisfaction with the result. Those who have an Plus membership card can receive aftercare benefits at any time.
