In early June, we received some welcome news. Our clinic, Chaï Clinic, was awarded by Cynosure Lutronic for content related to Sylfirm.
It feels especially meaningful because we were the first to introduce the Sylfirm device in Mapo-gu, and this seems to be recognition of accurately explaining Sylfirm’s advantages based on 9 years of lifting procedure experience.

In fact, when Sylfirm was launched in May 2024, the reason we introduced it without hesitation as the first clinic in Mapo-gu was clear. We were confident that it was a device that dramatically solved the issue of pain, the biggest obstacle in existing lifting procedures, and delivered excellent satisfaction.

"I want lifting, but I’m really worried about the pain."
"Anesthesia is burdensome too, and it takes a long time."
Knowing that these concerns we have heard in Hongdae for 9 years could be improved with Sylfirm makes this award even more meaningful. Above all, I think it is a chance to explain Sylfirm lifting in more detail to those looking into Hongdae lifting.

Profile

Hello, I’m Dr. Jo Won-jin, director of Chaï Clinic.

Taking this Cynosure Lutronic content award as an opportunity, I’ll explain more clearly how Sylfirm differs from existing lifting treatments for those who are looking into Hongdae lifting.

Sylfirm is the latest radiofrequency lifting device newly introduced after the merger of Lutronic and Cynosure. Its biggest feature is its differentiated cooling system: each time a shot is delivered into the skin tissue, a cooling pulse is applied individually to reduce pain.

As a result, the procedure can be performed with very little pain, to the point that it is possible without an anesthesia process. Compared with Thermage, where anesthesia alone takes 40–50 minutes, Sylfirm can complete the procedure in 30–40 minutes based on 600 shots.

Sylfirm does not simply reduce pain. It is also optimized for personalized treatment.
Using two wavelengths, 6.78MHz and 2MHz, it can perform treatment in a total of three modes: Shallow, Middle, and Deep. It solves the problem of energy delivery to deeper layers, which was a limitation of existing radiofrequency lifting devices.

In addition, four tips (EFFECTOR 05, 10, 40, and 60) make customized treatment possible for various areas of the face. In particular, the EFFECTOR 60 tip has a surface area 1.5 times larger than Thermage Total Tip, so with 600 shots of Sylfirm, you can expect satisfaction comparable to 840 shots of Thermage.

For those looking into Hongdae lifting, the most common question is, "Then is the satisfaction similar to Thermage?" In terms of energy delivery efficiency, I can say it is actually superior. If you are considering Hongdae lifting, this is also something worth taking into account, right?

Of course, Sylfirm may not be the best choice for everyone. Depending on an individual’s skin condition, desired improvements, and lifestyle, there are definitely other options worth considering.

That is why, more than anything, it is important to go through a detailed skin analysis and sufficient consultation at a trustworthy dermatology clinic. As Chaï Clinic’s philosophy says, "No two skins in the world are the same," choosing the procedure most suitable for the individual is more important than any cutting-edge device.

I believe this content award recognizes the accurate delivery of information about Sylfirm. Going forward, we will continue to provide accurate and useful information to everyone looking into Hongdae lifting, helping each person choose the lifting treatment best suited to them.
This has been Chaï Clinic, where your beauty is customized. Thank you.
