Hello. I’m Dr. Jo Won-jin, and I’ve been practicing medicine in Hongdae for 9 years.

It’s expensive, but...
What if it only hurts and you end up wasting your money?
Rejuran Healer is definitely a good procedure, to the point that it’s called a “skin tonic.”
But if Rejuran is done incorrectly, it can also become a procedure with poor value for money, or one that doesn’t deliver results worth what you paid.

Today, with the topic “Hongdae Rejuran Healer: Look at These 2 Things,”
I’ll point out the clear standards for getting it properly and cost-effectively.
If you choose a clinic based on this, at least you won’t end up paying for a procedure that feels wasteful just because you didn’t know better.

Rejuran Healer in 1 Minute
Many people in Hongdae confuse Rejuran Healer with a “skin booster injection.”
If a skin booster injection adds moisture to the skin and makes it temporarily hydrated,
Rejuran Healer is a procedure that directly injects PN, a skin “regeneration” ingredient.

To put it simply, it’s not just pouring water onto dry ground, but adding fertilizer so the soil itself can become more fertile.
The idea is to improve the environment inside the skin, induce collagen production, and fundamentally improve elasticity and skin texture.
That’s why it is also recommended for people with thin, dry, or sensitive skin.

- Is it injected accurately into the dermal layer while minimizing loss?
This is the key to “value for money.”
The place where Rejuran Healer’s key ingredient (PN) needs to work is the skin’s dermal layer.
If it is placed deeper than the dermal layer, the effect may be reduced.
Hongdae Rejuran Healer is usually performed either with a machine injector or with manual injections directly by a doctor.
An injector may be faster, but during the process of transferring the medication from the syringe to the machine,
and due to medication loss inside the machine,
there can be some loss of the solution.

But the bigger issue is the depth.
The thickness of facial skin varies from area to area.
The skin around the eyes and on the forehead is very thin, while the cheeks are relatively thicker.
It is difficult to control these subtle differences with a machine.

That’s also why I prefer manual injections.
With manual injections, the doctor can directly feel the thickness of the skin and finely adjust the injection depth in 1 mm units,
which makes it possible to inject into the “dermal layer” of each area.
So, if possible, I recommend getting it done by manual injection at a place that finely adjusts the depth by facial area.
- Are there pain management options that improve “accuracy”?
Many people hesitate because of the idea that “Rejuran Healer = painful.”
But pain is directly connected to the accuracy of the procedure, meaning its “value for money.”
If the patient flinches because it hurts, naturally the medical staff’s injection can also become unstable.
If the patient is in too much pain, the doctor may also unconsciously insert the needle into a deeper layer with less pain... (= reduced effect)

In the end, if pain is not managed,
it leads to the “medication loss” mentioned above.
That’s why I pay attention to pain management so you can receive the procedure comfortably even without sedation.
First, a sufficient amount of anesthetic cream is applied,
and if needed, additional “local anesthesia” is performed to minimize pain.
If you are especially afraid of pain, there is also an alternative called Rejuran HB, which is designed to reduce pain.

Rejuran HB is a version mixed with a small amount of anesthetic, so it can be injected with less pain.
(Even I, who am afraid of injections and pain, have done a self-treatment with it, so it’s fairly manageable.)
You need to be comfortable during the procedure for the medical staff to place it accurately
into the dermal layer,
so please check the clinic’s anesthesia options carefully.
Self-treatment was done with an injector out of necessity.
Q. Are there places to avoid?
I recommend avoiding the following places whenever possible.
- Places that do not consider your skin condition
There have been cases where people came in with severely aggravated skin after getting Hongdae Rejuran Healer while having severe atopy or active purulent acne.
Please be sure to consult with a doctor and confirm whether your skin is in a condition that can safely receive the procedure.

- Places with excessively low procedure prices
The vial itself is expensive, but what if the price is unbelievably cheap?
There is also a possibility that they are not using genuine product/full amount, or that they diluted it by mixing in other ingredients.
Before the procedure, ask to open the genuine product in front of you, or ask whether a certificate can be issued.
(We have also provided NFC authenticity verification on site.)

The 2 criteria for a clinic that does Rejuran Healer well
Hongdae Rejuran Healer is something you pay a lot of money for.
To avoid ending up with a procedure that only hurts and has no effect, be sure to remember the 2 criteria for a good clinic that I mentioned today.

If you’re still unsure about choosing a clinic, be sure to read the post below.
I’ve written down a way to avoid at least unscrupulous clinics.
Thank you. This was Jo Won-jin.
