The original Rejuran Healer is packed 100% with PN, the key skin-rejuvenating ingredient extracted from salmon.

You can think of it as a highly concentrated supplement focused entirely on skin regeneration.

On the other hand, Hongdae Rejuran HB Plus reduces this regenerative ingredient to 50%,

and fills the remaining half with 50% hyaluronic acid, which attracts moisture.

It also contains a small amount of the local anesthetic lidocaine so that the treatment hurts less.

In simple terms, if Healer focuses 100% on regeneration,

HB is a comprehensive supplement that balances regeneration, hydration, and pain relief.

2. Effect and pain comparison of Rejuran Healer vs. HB

Shall we start with the pain, which is what most people are most curious about?

To put it simply, HB is indeed clearly less painful than the original Healer.

Because the medication itself contains an anesthetic component,

the unique tight, pulling pain that feels like the skin is being torn apart during injection is reduced by more than half.

Then people often ask, “If the regenerative ingredient is reduced to 50%, doesn’t that mean the effect is cut in half too?”

Numerically, it is true that the regenerative ingredient has been reduced.

But when I, along with many others, have actually performed the treatment,

the difference in perceived effect between the two treatments is not so large that it is worth enduring the pain of Healer while shedding tears.

In fact, HB also contains ingredients that attract moisture,

so it often delivers higher satisfaction more quickly in terms of immediate relief from internal dryness and a dewy, glass-skin effect right after the procedure.

I personally also continue to use the less painful Rejuran HB when doing self-treatment on my own face.
