What is upper blepharoplasty (upper eyelid drooping surgery)?

This is a surgery that improves an aged, downward-sagging upper eyelid (upper eyelid drooping) into a more attractive shape, helping the eyes look younger while also addressing eye fatigue and visual obstruction.

Indications for upper blepharoplasty

1. When the eyelids sag so much that they feel heavy and tired

2. When the eyelids droop and cover the pupils, causing visual impairment

3. When sagging eyelids make a person look older

If the skin of the upper eyelid has sagged, upper blepharoplasty should be performed to remove the excess skin.

This is done to remove the loose skin and create a more natural double eyelid line.

This is a surgery that improves an aged, downward-sagging lower eyelid into a more attractive shape,

making the under-eye area look brighter and younger while giving an improved impression.

If the eyelids are sagging, lower blepharoplasty should be performed to remove some of the eyelid skin.

This is because the sagging eyelid cannot simply be left as it is and operated on.

An incision is made in the skin, an appropriate amount of skin is removed along the designed line, and the skin is sutured.

During surgery, fat may also be removed or repositioned to correct hollow areas at the same time.
