When the alar cartilage at the nasal tip is large or spread outward to both sides, correction is performed by making an incision inside the nose to remove or trim the cartilage, and then tying both sides together.

By cutting away the large cartilage, the size of the alar cartilage is reduced, and as the nostrils are naturally drawn toward the center, the nose can be corrected into a slimmer, more elevated shape.

If there is a lot of subcutaneous fat at the nasal tip and the skin tissue is thick, the fat tissue at the tip is removed to reduce skin thickness and improve the bulbous nose.
