Densiti "High"
Hello, this is Raon Dermatology Clinic in Wangsimni :)
If I had to pick the procedure we’ve been getting the most inquiries about lately, it would definitely be Densiti High. Since we’ve covered it several times on our blog before, today I’ve gathered some topics that are usually harder to come across. I’ll briefly review what Densiti High is and also organize the questions you often ask us :)

Densiti "High"
What is Densiti High?
Among various radiofrequency lifting devices, Densiti High is a device that helps improve the overall condition of the skin by efficiently delivering energy deep into the skin. Rather than simply stimulating the surface, it concentrates heat down to the dermis and deeper layers without damaging the epidermis, inducing collagen production and improved elasticity at the same time.
Another notable feature is that it applies both monopolar and bipolar radiofrequency methods. Because the depth reached and the way each type of energy works are different, their combined effect can further maximize the impact on skin density and structure. Thanks to this, you can expect a natural and three-dimensional lifting result :)

What is Densiti High?
Procedure Principle
As mentioned earlier, Densiti High uses both monopolar and bipolar radiofrequency. Monopolar concentrates radiofrequency in one direction, delivering energy deep into the skin and helping with collagen regeneration and volume improvement. This allows for more noticeable lifting and volume effects.
Meanwhile, bipolar spreads heat more broadly in the shallow layers, making it beneficial for improving firmness near the surface and refining skin texture. Because it stimulates different depths of the skin in this way, it can improve not only elasticity but also overall skin thickness, density, and texture at the same time.
<Dual Radiofrequency>
-
Monopolar → concentrated heat delivery to deeper layers
-
Bipolar → broad heat delivery to shallow layers
-
Simultaneous deep and wide stimulation of multiple skin layers

Effects and Benefits
Let’s organize the main effects and benefits of Densiti High lifting! By using combined radiofrequency technology, Densiti High goes beyond simple elasticity improvement and induces meaningful changes throughout the skin. In particular, by evenly delivering energy deep into the skin, it promotes collagen regeneration and can also manage fine lines and enlarged pores at the same time, which is a major advantage~!
In addition, thanks to the skin-protection cooling system, the procedure is carried out safely while minimizing surface irritation. On top of that, the impedance feedback function automatically adjusts the energy according to each person’s skin resistance, allowing for a customized lifting effect.

vs Classic
I think I’ve explained the principles and benefits enough. Now let’s look at the differences between High and Classic~? Compared with the existing Densiti Classic, Densiti High is designed to respond to a much wider range of skin layers and options. The alternating monopolar and bipolar irradiation method I mentioned earlier is also only possible with Densiti High. If you want to cover both depth and breadth, choosing High rather than Classic makes more sense, right?
Another important difference is that by distributing the two types of radiofrequency so that heat does not concentrate at one point, pain and warmth are relatively reduced! Both the High-specific tip and the Classic tip are compatible, and the device is composed of three tip types—F/E/B—so it can be customized according to the treatment area :)

Why Is 600 Shots or More Recommended?
(Why 300 Shots Is Not Enough)
Lastly, why do we specifically recommend 600 shots or more? To fully bring out the effects of Densiti High, a certain number of shots is necessary. Collagen production begins in earnest only when thermal coagulation points are formed, and with 300 shots, the lifting may end after only raising the skin temperature! Therefore, at least 600 shots are needed to deliver thermal energy to the desired depth and intensity.
Accordingly, at Raon Dermatology Clinic, we recommend a sufficient number of shots, starting from 600 or more! In addition, we first raise the skin temperature with a Genesis laser and then perform Densiti High to maximize the synergistic effect. With these techniques, it is possible to achieve safe and efficient lifting without wasting any shots :)
Q. Why is 600 shots or more recommended?
-
300 shots are not enough to raise deep tissue temperature
-
At least 600 shots are needed
-
Raise the skin temperature with a Genesis laser first
-
Then perform Densiti High to maximize the effect
