Collagen-filling injections
Hello, this is Raon Dermatology in Haengdang-dong :)
Today, we’ve prepared information on two collagen boosters, Olidia Mayo and Juvelook Volume. Although they are grouped under the single category of collagen boosters, there are many differences as well as similarities, from their ingredients to the structure of their particles and their actual effects. Please read today’s post carefully and see which product may be more suitable for your skin :)

Collagen-filling injections
What is collagen?
Collagen in the skin does more than simply keep the skin firm; it plays a key role in supporting the entire structure of the dermis. Skin thickness, elasticity, moisture, and density are all greatly influenced by collagen. However, since collagen production gradually decreases after your 20s, skin becomes thinner with age and experiences changes such as dryness and reduced elasticity.
As everyone goes through the aging process, fine lines, deep wrinkles, and sagging skin will inevitably appear! While it may seem like simple aging on the surface, the real cause is the deformation of the structure within the dermis. That is why it is important not to dismiss collagen loss as just a natural part of aging, but to actively manage it early.

What is collagen?
Collagen booster
The method of improving skin structure by stimulating reduced collagen is called a collagen booster. Rather than simply filling in a specific ingredient, it is an injectable solution focused on inducing collagen production within the skin to reconstruct the dermis! Representative examples include Olidia Mayo and Juvelook Volume.
Both products are injected deep into the dermis with the goal of remodeling the skin from within and making it firmer again. Because the approach aims to improve skin density itself rather than provide temporary volume, it is characterized by results that remain firm even over time :) Let’s take a closer look at each product starting from the next slide.
<What is a collagen booster?>
-
Inject a specific ingredient into the dermis
-
Induce the skin’s own collagen production
-
Rebuild the skin from within
-
Long-lasting volume and elasticity effects

Olidia Mayo
First, Olidia Mayo is a biodegradable collagen booster based on the ingredient PLLA. After being injected into the skin, it slowly breaks down and induces collagen production over a long period of time. Because the particle structure is fine and spreads evenly, the effect is natural and does not feel out of place.
In particular, because the risk of nodules is low, it is highly useful even in sensitive treatment areas, and the volume effect gradually becomes more pronounced over time. As a result, rather than an artificial sense of volume, you may feel the skin’s original structure regaining elasticity. It can be recommended for localized areas of facial volume loss or reduced elasticity.

PLLA-based collagen booster
-
Smaller particle size than Sculptra
-
Long-lasting, natural volume effect

Juvelook Volume
Next, Juvelook Volume is a collagen booster with a compound formulation that combines PDLLA and hyaluronic acid. PDLLA induces collagen production, and HA provides moisture and an immediate volume effect, so you can feel a change right after injection. You can think of it as volume being formed immediately by the injected material, followed by collagen regeneration that naturally restores fullness.
Compared with the existing Juvelook, this product has enhanced particle size and concentration, so you can expect more noticeable volume improvement and increased dermal density. It can be applied to areas with insufficient volume or visibly reduced elasticity, and of course, it is also suitable for skin concerns such as enlarged pores :)
<Juvelook Volume>
-
PDLLA + HA formulation
-
Creates volume immediately
-
Then promotes long-term collagen regeneration
-
Volume settles in naturally

Comparison analysis
Both collagen boosters share the common feature of inducing collagen production within the skin, but there are some differences in their actual use and the results you can expect. First, Olidia Mayo has very small particles and a structure that spreads widely, so it works evenly throughout the skin and can provide a natural lifting effect. Because the volume gradually builds over time, it is characterized by a smooth change without an artificial look.
On the other hand, Juvelook Volume has larger particles and higher viscosity, so you can immediately feel the added volume right after injection. Thanks to the hyaluronic acid it contains, the skin texture also improves, giving the feeling that the skin is filled in more densely. Juvelook may be more suitable for areas with significant volume loss or a sharp decline in elasticity, whereas Olidia Mayo may be more advantageous when the skin is thin and requires delicate improvement :)
