The number of foreign patients visiting Korea has been steadily increasing recently.
In 2023 alone, about 606,000 foreign patients from as many as 198 countries visited Korea.
Satisfaction with Korean medical services scored 89.2 points*, a very high figure.
Korean medical services are attracting many foreigners because they offer high-quality treatment at reasonable prices, supported by a smart medical infrastructure combined with advanced IT technology.
As Korea’s medical tourism draws global attention, interest in dental health among foreigners is also rising.
In that context, Minish was recently introduced in four languages on “Visit Korea (대한민국 구석구석),” a leading foreign visitor information platform operated by the Korea Tourism Organization!
Visit Korea is a site that provides foreigners with travel information on a variety of themes such as Hallyu, traditional markets, and wellness. In its Medical Korea medical tourism section, Minish’s case was selected as one of the representative contents. 😊

After finishing her student life in Korea, Chiaki is now continuing her connection with Korea by working in Japan, supplying Korean ingredients to restaurants. She had long been concerned about her teeth.
Three years ago, she received orthodontic treatment because her teeth were misaligned, but she was not satisfied with the results, and over time the discoloration of her teeth also began to bother her more and more.
However, Chiaki strongly disliked laminate procedures that require shaving down a large amount of tooth structure.
What she chose instead was Minish, which restores teeth while preserving their function and appearance as much as possible.
The philosophy of Minish, which naturally restores teeth, was the trustworthy answer Chiaki had been looking for for a long time.

Interview with Visit Korea | Chiaki explains why she chose Minish
Q. Why did you choose Minish Dental Hospital?
A. “I wanted to receive treatment at a place with extensive dental treatment experience.
So I ended up looking for a large hospital in the center of Gangnam, which is well known as a mecca for medical tourism.
Minish Dental Hospital is in a 14-story building, so I already felt confident from the start (laughs).
Above all, the many positive reviews from celebrities also had a big influence.
But the most decisive reason was the doctor’s warm words.
Before I even said anything, they noticed the part that had been my complex and
said with confidence, ‘We can fix that too, so trust us and leave it to us.’
At that moment, I felt like this was a place that truly understood me, and I was able to receive treatment with peace of mind.”

Q. Was there anything especially impressive during the procedure?
A. “Above all, the consultation system was really impressive.
In Japan, you mainly consult directly with the doctor, but in Korea, the structure seemed to be that you first go through a consultation with the medical director to review the overall situation.
At first it felt a little unfamiliar, but thanks to the professional interpreter staff, communication was very smooth, and the medical director also listened to my concerns with genuine sincerity.
Thanks to the detailed explanations and warm attitude, I was able to receive treatment with real peace of mind.”
Q. I heard the treatment was completed in just one day. What was that day like?
A. “Yes, all the treatment really was completed in just one day!
I arrived at the hospital at 9 a.m. and first had a precise scan, and while that was happening, the design for the Minish restoration that fit my teeth perfectly was created in real time.
I had a leisurely lunch near the hospital, and I was also very satisfied that I could relax comfortably in the 14th-floor lounge.
After the restoration was completed, the doctor carefully attached it and checked it meticulously to make sure it fit properly.
After finishing everything and leaving the hospital, it was around 3 p.m.—all the treatment was finished in just six hours.
I was really surprised that, since everything from the research institute to the procedure equipment was all in one building, I could receive treatment quickly and efficiently without wasting any time!”

Q. After treatment, did you feel any discomfort or anything unusual?
A. “Actually, I heard that some people do feel discomfort after treatment.
But perhaps because I didn’t change my teeth too drastically, I didn’t feel any discomfort at all.
Rather, it felt comfortable, like natural teeth, and when eating, food didn’t get stuck in between, so it was clean and pleasant.
Above all, the biggest change was that I no longer had the habit of covering my mouth.
In the past, every time I laughed, I would unconsciously cover my mouth with my hand, but now I can smile naturally and confidently without worrying about other people’s eyes.
I think that is the biggest reason I chose Minish and the precious change that has come into my life.”
Like Chiaki’s experience, Korea’s medical technology offers a special experience that goes beyond simple treatment and changes quality of life.
Korea’s medical system, which can provide safe and precise treatment in a short time
And Minish Dental Hospital, at its center, is now becoming a name of trust for foreign patients as well.
The fact that the reason to visit Korea can be “treatment,” and that through that journey one can regain a confident smile,
It is truly welcome that this is now becoming known to many people. 😊
