Another welcome piece of news has reached the Korean dental community.
Kwak Hae-sung, director of Minish Dental Hospital, has been selected as a 2025 Key Opinion Leader (KOL) for Ivoclar, a global dental materials company.
Ivoclar, a global company leading the world dental materials market
Headquartered in Liechtenstein, Ivoclar is a global company that researches and develops a wide range of dental materials, including composite resin, cement, adhesives, all-ceramic materials, and artificial teeth. In Korea, it supplies various products through “Ivoclar Korea” and is globally recognized for its quality and technology.
The meaning of signing an 'official contract,' not just a simple partnership

This selection of Director Kwak as a KOL is drawing even more attention because it goes beyond a simple collaboration and is based on an official contract with Ivoclar’s headquarters.
Director Kwak has previously given lectures at the invitation of various companies such as 3M, Osstem, and Bisco, but this is the first time he has worked under a direct contract with a global headquarters.
He will be active as one of 13 domestic KOLs
In 2025, Director Kwak will serve as one of 13 KOLs representing Korea and will play a bridging role between the Korean dental community and the world through various activities, including:
-
Business trips to Ivoclar headquarters
-
Specialized lectures on bonding
-
Networking with global dental experts
“An opportunity to show the level of Korean dentistry to the world”

Regarding his selection as a KOL, Director Kwak Hae-sung said:
🗣️ “This is the result of a global company recognizing the expertise and trustworthiness of Minish Dental Hospital. Going forward, I will help widely share the latest dental technologies and materials with the Korean dental community and contribute to improving the quality of patient care.”
Minish Dental Hospital will continue to communicate with the world beyond Korea and carry on representing Korean dentistry.
