1. Initial Consultation and Diagnosis

2. Implant Planning and Placement

3. Healing and Integration Period

4. Abutment Connection

Once the implant and jawbone have fully fused, an abutment is connected on top of it. This serves as an intermediate bridge connecting the implant and the artificial tooth (crown). This process is also relatively brief.

5. Final Prosthesis (Crown) Placement

After the abutment is connected, an artificial tooth (crown) matched to the patient’s tooth shape and color is fabricated and placed. Through this, a natural appearance and function can be restored. This final stage completes the implant treatment.

6. Follow-up Care

Even after the implant is completed, regular visits to the dental clinic are necessary to check the oral condition and the health of the implant. In addition, daily oral hygiene management must be thorough for long-term maintenance. Using oral care aids, maintaining oral hygiene, and regular checkups every 6 months to 1 year help ensure that the implant can be used healthily for a longer time.

If there is not enough jawbone, bone grafting may be needed before implant placement. In this case, a process is carried out to regenerate bone instead of relying on the tooth root, preparing the site so that the implant can be placed stably.
