How Long Does It Last?
“After V-RO lifting, how long does it last?
Do the effects show right away?”
Recently, as interest in lifting procedures
has grown,
there are now many different devices.
Among them, V-RO lifting (V-RO)
uses both ultrasound (HIFU) and
radiofrequency (RF)
at the same time,
so many people are interested in it.
That is why people often wonder what effects V-RO produces
and how long they last.
Today, focusing on the duration of V-RO lifting effects,
I will talk about research findings confirmed in papers
along with actual clinical experience.

- What Is V-RO Lifting?
V-RO lifting uses HIFU (high-intensity focused ultrasound) and RF (radiofrequency) at the same time.
HIFU delivers energy deep into the SMAS layer of the skin
and helps tighten the skin structure,
while RF stimulates the relatively shallow dermis layer
to induce collagen regeneration and increased hydration.

In other words, it is a procedure that can provide both a lifting effect in the deeper layers and an improvement in skin texture.
- What Are the Effects of V-RO Lifting?
Based on actual research results,
let’s look at the effects of V-RO lifting.

The clinical paper above involved
V-RO lifting for 22 participants.
The left side of the face was treated with HIFU only,
while the right side was treated with HIFU + RF
for a comparative study.

After comparing pore improvement, skin elasticity, eye-area wrinkles,
lifting, skin density, and moisture levels,
compared with HIFU alone,
when HIFU and RF were used together,
pore improvement, skin elasticity, eye-area wrinkles,
skin density, and moisture levels
improved more.

In other words, to improve the jawline and nasolabial folds,
HIFU alone is sufficient,
but to see effects such as reduced pores,
improved skin elasticity,
reduced eye-area wrinkles, and increased skin hydration,
V-RO, which uses both HIFU and RF,
was more effective.
- How Long Do the Effects of V-RO Lifting Last?
Right after the V-RO lifting procedure,
you may feel the skin being pulled,
and there may be some mild swelling.
The lifting effect then became more distinct
as 2 to 4 weeks passed.
The paper above followed patients for up to 8 weeks,
and by that point, the results showed that skin elasticity and moisture content
had steadily improved.

The average duration of V-RO lifting effects
is about 6 months to 1 year.
For people in their 20s to early 30s,
whose skin elasticity has not declined very much,
even one treatment can keep the effect for nearly a year.
If skin aging has progressed after the 40s,
the effect tends to last about 6 months,
and it is a good idea to receive V-RO treatments regularly.
With repeated treatments over time,
as skin condition improves,
the intervals may become longer as well.
Today, we looked into the duration of V-RO lifting effects.
V-RO lifting goes beyond simply pulling the skin upward;
it is a procedure that can also improve elasticity within the skin and manage skin texture.
Because HIFU and RF can be performed together,
it has many advantages as a lifting procedure,
and depending on how the treatment plan is set up,
it can be applied to various skin types.
I hope today’s explanation helped clear up some of your questions about V-RO lifting.
