Sinchon acne,
Treat it like this before it turns into scars <Must Read>

“Acne keeps breaking out, and it’s so stressful.”
“I’ve tried this and that, but why is it still the same?”
Acne that appears as red, inflamed bumps on the face is a skin concern that can be stressful for anyone.
In particular, since it can sometimes remain as scars over time, it is important to receive the proper treatment as quickly as possible.
For those who are worried, saying, “I’ve tried several methods, but acne keeps coming back,”
today I’ll explain in detail three ways to effectively relieve acne.

Extraction is necessary

When you go to a dermatology clinic, you often first hear, “You should get an extraction before you leave.”
It may feel burdensome because of the pain and irritation, but extraction is actually a very effective basic treatment for easing acne.
Extraction is the process of directly removing sebum, comedones, pus, and other buildup inside the pores to reduce pressure.
When that pressure goes down, swelling and inflammation subside much more quickly.
In particular, if comedones remain inside the pores like roots, they can continue to trigger inflammation, so removing them through extraction can also reduce future acne breakouts.

Of course, not all acne is a candidate for extraction.
However, hard and large nodular acne is not recommended for extraction, because doing so can actually spread the inflammation and cause deep scars.
The problem is that it is difficult for the average person to distinguish between these types.
Also, because sterilization and precise pressure control are necessary, extraction is safest when performed professionally at a dermatology clinic.

What about large acne?

Then how should hard, large, and very painful acne such as nodular acne be treated?
In such cases, an anti-inflammatory injection is effective.
An anti-inflammatory injection is a treatment that rapidly calms inflammation by directly injecting a small amount of diluted steroid into the acne area.
Steroids reduce the activity of inflammatory cells and suppress excessive immune responses, helping prevent skin damage, so they help prevent worsening and also aid in scar prevention.
However, the dosage of steroids is very important.
If too much is injected, the skin tissue may atrophy, causing that area to sink in.
Therefore, a small amount must be accurately diluted and injected, and repeated injections in the same area should be avoided.

What if none of the treatments above work?

If acne keeps breaking out even after extraction and anti-inflammatory injections, it means the root cause of acne—the “sebum factory” (sebaceous glands)—has not been suppressed.
Sebaceous glands normally protect and lubricate the skin, but for some people, sebum production is especially excessive, so even after it is cleared out, it quickly fills up again.
In this case, laser treatment can be a fundamental solution.
Representative options include Agnes, NeoBeam, and A-Tra Laser, which use energy at specific wavelengths to selectively destroy overdeveloped sebaceous glands.
In other words, the goal is to reduce the sebaceous glands that become the “seed” of acne and create an environment where acne no longer forms.

However, laser treatment is not enough with just one session.
Because there are so many sebaceous glands, consistent treatment is necessary, and usually 3 to 5 sessions are performed at 2- to 4-week intervals.
Depending on the condition of the skin, the treatment period may be extended, but with consistent care, you can see that the speed at which acne develops gradually decreases.

There are really many people worrying about Sinchon acne, right?
Today, I summarized three basic ways to manage acne: extraction, anti-inflammatory injections, and laser treatment.
Acne is often difficult to resolve with just one treatment.
The more you combine it with peeling or other skin care procedures, the faster and more effective the improvement can be, so I hope you create a customized treatment plan that fits your skin condition.
