How effective is it for eye-area wrinkles?
"The fine wrinkles around my eyes
keep bothering me."
"I heard Rejuran i is good,
but does it really work?"
The skin around the eyes is thinner than other areas
and moves more with facial expressions,
so wrinkles form easily.
Because of that, treatment options for the eye area are limited.
Among them, Rejuran i has many reviews saying it was effective.
But it is only natural to hesitate
before deciding based on that alone.
Today, I’ll explain in detail,
based on actual clinical data,
what changes Rejuran i can create around the eyes,
when those changes become most noticeable,
and how long they last.

Why do wrinkles form easily around the eyes?
The eye area is where signs of aging
appear earliest on the face.
The reason is simple.
The skin in this area is only about half as thick
as in other areas.

Thin skin means that the dermis also contains
less collagen and elastin.
Even small刺激 can make wrinkles
settle in easily, and once they form,
they do not go away easily.
On top of that, facial muscle movement adds to it.
Every time you blink or smile,
the skin around the eyes repeatedly
folds and unfolds.
If the dermis cannot provide enough support,
that movement is etched directly into wrinkles.

That is why wrinkles that were first visible
only when making expressions gradually become
fixed wrinkles that remain even when the face is at rest.
The problem is that treatment options
for this area are limited.
Because the skin is thin, if a filler with high viscosity is injected,
it can easily cause lumping or show through.
So for the eye area, the usual approach is not to fill,
but to improve the skin’s own ability to recover.

How does it work on eye-area wrinkles?
Rejuran i injects PN components directly
into the dermis.
PN is polynucleotide extracted
from salmon reproductive cells.
It helps skin cells recover,
induces collagen production,
and helps damaged dermal structure become denser again.

What is important here is that Rejuran i
works by stimulating new collagen production
inside the skin.
In other words, over time,
the skin’s own quality changes.
This difference affects both the naturalness
of the result and how long it lasts.
There is a clinical study on
what kind of changes this method actually creates,
so let’s take a look.

This material covers a clinical study
that used PN to improve eye-area wrinkles.
The researchers injected PN filler a total of four times
at two-week intervals in 30 participants,
and tracked the changes over 18 weeks.

To improve objectivity, they performed a precise analysis
of the skin surface with an Antera 3D camera.
The photo below shows one participant before and after the procedure.

In the before-treatment photo on the left,
deep wrinkles extended in several directions
around the eyes, and the skin texture also looked rough.
In the photo on the right, 18 weeks later,
the depth of the deep wrinkles had noticeably become shallower,
and the skin surface itself appeared smoother
and more refined.
What is interesting is that it was not just the wrinkles
that improved.

Through Antera analysis, the researchers reported
improvements not only in wrinkles, but also in skin texture, pores,
depressions, and skin tone (hemoglobin levels).
This means PN does not act on just one symptom,
but lifts overall cellular activity in the dermis
and changes the skin’s overall quality.
In an area as thin and sensitive as the eye area,
these changes are especially visible in the result.

How long does the effect last?
The part many people are most curious about
is durability.
"How long does it last after one treatment?"
is a question I hear very often.
To put it simply,
the effect of PN is cumulative.
It is not a method that creates dramatic change all at once,
but one in which collagen accumulates steadily in the skin
as sessions are repeated, and the changes continue.

This pattern also appears clearly in the study mentioned earlier.
The researchers compared four time points:
at the start of treatment, immediately after the final treatment,
4 weeks after the final treatment, and 12 weeks after.
The best results appeared at 4 weeks after the final treatment.

This is because it coincides with the period
when collagen regeneration is most active.
After 12 weeks from the final treatment,
the values do decline slightly,
but compared with before treatment,
the improved state is still maintained much better.
In other words, the effect itself does not disappear;
it just comes down a little from its highest peak.
That is also why additional treatment at a certain point
is recommended to bring the condition back up.
Hongdae Rejuran i eye-area wrinkle treatment does not
smooth everything out at once,
but gradually changes the quality of the skin.
So what determines the result is not simply
'how many sessions did I have?'
but whether the number of sessions and intervals
were properly designed for my skin condition.
Eye-area wrinkles are the part of the face
where age shows first,
but at the same time, they are also an area where even a small change
can make a big difference in overall impression.
If you are considering treatment,
I hope you will check whether your eye area is being assessed accurately
and whether the consultation is tailored to your condition.
Thank you.
