Can I really have a celebrity-style smile with veneers too?
Are no-prep veneers possible?
Some people are suitable for them, while others need minimal tooth reduction.
The answer lies in the diagnosis.

Hello, I am Yuna Kim, the director of Claire Dental Clinic, where preserving natural teeth is our first priority.
When I provide veneer consultations in the treatment room, I meet many people who have already researched a great deal of information before coming in.
“Doctor, can I have beautiful teeth like the celebrity smile I see with veneers?”

When we see natural smiles in television appearances or photo shoots, it is something we may find ourselves wondering about at least once.
However, I do not believe that smile—or beautiful teeth—comes simply from covering the teeth with veneers.
I would describe it as being closer to design-focused care, where we consider the shape of the face, the lip line, and even the proportions of the front teeth visible when smiling.

Have you been looking for reviews of no-prep veneers?
As people research veneers, many feel relieved by the single statement that their teeth do not need to be filed down.
Among reviews of no-prep veneers, you may also come across stories from people who were told no preparation would be needed but found that more tooth reduction was performed than expected.

In my experience, there is a reason this can happen.
In fact, no-prep veneers are not applied in exactly the same way to everyone.
It depends on how far forward the teeth are, as well as their alignment, thickness, and shade.
Some people can finish with no preparation, while others need minimal tooth reduction.

If the teeth already project forward or there is not enough space, attaching veneers without shaping anything can actually make them look bulkier and unnatural.
That is why, rather than deciding on a method first, I always prioritize checking the current condition of the teeth.
I always want to emphasize that the question is not whether no-prep veneers are good or bad, but whether they are the right option for you.

Why should diagnosis come before deciding how many veneers to place?
First of all, I do not decide on the number of veneers in advance.
After thoroughly examining your current condition through X-rays, an intraoral scan, and a bite assessment, I explain step by step whether no-prep veneers are possible or whether minimal tooth reduction is needed.
If reduction is necessary, I prepare a simulation so that you can see in advance how much is needed and why.

Not recommending more veneers than necessary and preserving the natural tooth structure through minimal reduction are the principles I follow.
Because these are teeth you will use for a long time, I proceed precisely with only what is necessary at the present stage.
Through detailed diagnosis, you can experience a refined design that carefully adjusts even the slightest angles.

What determines a good set of veneers?
I prioritize preserving as much of the natural teeth as possible.
The Claire Glow method, developed in-house by our clinic and filed for patent protection, focuses on carefully refining the tone, translucency, and edge line even at a thin thickness.
This is why I personally plan the balance between the face and the natural teeth, then carry that design through a skilled laboratory process.

Our goal is always a result that blends comfortably with the entire face when you smile.
This is why people from a wide range of professions quietly visit Claire Dental Clinic.
Even subtle differences in light reflection and tone can significantly change the image on screen and the overall impression.
We create a natural look that does not appear artificial, with a design tailored to each person’s face.

Before having veneers placed, start with a proper diagnosis.
Rather than focusing only on cosmetic restorations, we provide comprehensive care that also considers long-term oral balance and bite movement.
At Claire, where we carefully build everything from the initial design plan,
I hope you can rediscover your own smile—one that shines brighter to you than a celebrity’s teeth.
“Thank you.”
