[Apgujeong Seoul Plastic Surgery] Review of Forehead Lift, Facelift, and Lower Blepharoplasty in a Patient in Their 50s

Recently, as more patients have been looking for forehead lifts and facelifts together,

many people have been asking questions about scars, recovery time, and results, so today I would like to post a review of wrinkle surgery.

First, looking at the patient’s preoperative photos, you can see that frown lines and drooping eyelids make the eyes look cramped.

The patient wanted overall lifting of the sagging face and eye area,

and additionally wanted to improve the bulging under-eye sagging.

Looking at the side profile as well, the skin is sagging without overall volume, so the jowls and marionette lines are also visible.

After reviewing the patient’s condition and concerns, a forehead lift was performed to improve eyelid drooping and frown lines, and a facelift was performed to improve marionette lines, jowls, and fine wrinkles.

In addition, lower blepharoplasty was also performed to remove under-eye sagging and bulging fat.

These are photos from 3 weeks after surgery. Compared with before surgery, the marionette lines and jowl area improved significantly, and the face was lifted naturally so as not to lose the patient’s original image.

Many people who are preparing for lifting surgery worry about scars, but you can see that scars do not remain for very long and recovery happens fairly quickly.

Even though this patient was only at the 3-week mark, the scars recovered well and were not severe.

These are photos from 2 months after surgery.

The eye area, which looked cramped due to drooping eyelids, was improved through the forehead lift.

In addition, the hidden double eyelids were made to appear clearly,

making the eyes look more defined and sharper than before surgery.

The sagging under-eye area and protruding fat were also neatly improved through lower blepharoplasty.

If there is eyelid drooping and you open your eyes a lot using your forehead muscles, causing wrinkles on the forehead > A forehead lift is recommended

If there are fine wrinkles, nasolabial folds, and sagging cheeks on the face > A facelift is recommended

If the under-eye area is sagging and the fat is protruding noticeably > Lower blepharoplasty is recommended
