1. Ultherapy Prime

Ultherapy Prime is an upgraded version of Ulthera.

Ultherapy Prime uses high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) to deliver thermal energy to the fascial layer called the “SMAS layer” deep within the skin, providing a lifting effect.

The SMAS layer plays an important role in maintaining skin elasticity.

As aging progresses, this layer stretches, making the midface look longer and causing the deep cheek area to sag, which makes the facial contour look uneven.

Ultherapy Prime works by delivering thermal energy to this area to contract the stretched tissue and create a lifting effect.

Unlike other HIFU lifting devices, Ulthera has the advantage of allowing treatment while viewing the inside of the skin with ultrasound.

In the case of Ultherapy Prime, the image quality of the ultrasound has improved, and it can now see deeper areas, which has increased the accuracy of the treatment.

2. Thermage FLX

A lifting treatment as well known as Ulthera is Thermage FLX.

Thermage targets the dermal layer, where collagen is most densely concentrated.

As aging progresses, the dense and firm collagen structure decreases, becoming thinner and looser, which reduces skin elasticity and leads to wrinkles.

Titanium Lifting is characterized by using three wavelengths—755nm, 810nm, and 1064nm—to act deeply on each layer of the skin.

The 755nm wavelength responds to melanin pigment and improves fine wrinkles near the epidermis,

The 810nm wavelength acts on the dermal layer to induce collagen production,

and the 1064nm wavelength reaches the deepest SMAS layer, inducing contraction of the fascial layer and producing a strong lifting effect.
