Yeongdeungpo Acne Treatment Case
Improvement of Worsened Breakouts After Discharge from Military Service
“While I was in the military,
my acne got worse..”
Today, we’ll introduce a treatment case of a man in his early 20s who was concerned about worsened acne and red scars after being discharged from the military.
He had breakouts since his teenage years, and according to him, his condition worsened after military service because it was difficult to care for his skin while serving.
There may be people in their early 20s who are in a similar situation.
We’ll start by showing the actual photos taken before treatment and go through them one by one, so if you’re dealing with similar concerns, please refer to this treatment case.

Skin Condition Before Treatment
We first diagnosed the skin condition with MarkView.

-
Active acne was widely distributed
across the forehead, cheeks, and jawline
-
Red scars caused by repeated breakouts over a long period
were scattered across the face
-
Excess sebum production
-
Overall weakened skin barrier
In other words, this was a complex case with not only current breakouts but also red scars and a weakened skin barrier.

Treatment Plan
Acne treatment is not just about controlling the visible breakouts; to prevent recurrence, the underlying causes of repeated breakouts must also be managed.
Since this patient had a combination of active acne, red scars, excess sebum, and a weakened skin barrier, the plan was to proceed with treatments tailored to each issue.

Red scars were treated with vascular lasers Vbeam and DermaV, sebaceous gland control with NeoBeam, skin barrier recovery with Genesis, and tone improvement with Pico Toning.
Some people worry that having many types of lasers will be costly and may also burden the skin.
However, all of these treatments are not performed at once; depending on the skin condition, we start with the treatments that would be most helpful first.

Also, if you proceed with the Triple All for You program, you do not pay separately for each laser used every time; instead, you can use three lasers at a time according to your skin condition.
This patient underwent acne treatment together with facial hair removal.
That is because sebum and impurities often build up around hair follicles, leading to repeated breakouts.
Hair removal helped improve the environment around the follicles and contributed to reducing acne recurrence.

Treatment Progress and Results
This patient received 11 treatment sessions over about 5 months.
By the 4th session, newly appearing breakouts had clearly decreased, and by the 7th session, the redness had noticeably improved.
And by the 11th session, both the breakouts and the red scars had improved significantly and were being maintained stably.

Looking at the after-treatment photos,
-
The active acne that had spread across
the forehead, cheeks, and jawline mostly disappeared
-
The red scars that had covered
the entire face became noticeably lighter
-
The blotchy skin tone became
clearer and more even overall
-
The skin texture changed to look
smoother and healthier
These are the changes that can be confirmed.
Today, we looked at a Yeongdeungpo acne treatment case.

Acne is not a condition that ends after one or two treatments; consistent management is important.
Especially in cases like this one, where breakouts have repeated for a long time and red scars remain, meaningful improvement is possible only when calming the breakouts, improving the scars, and restoring the skin barrier are all addressed together.
I hope this case is helpful for those with similar concerns.
