A Freckle Laser Treatment Case in Yeongdeungpo

Freckles are largely influenced by genetic factors, so many people have been concerned about them since childhood.

As they reach their 20s, many come in to get rid of the freckles they have been bothered by for years.

The case we’re introducing today is also of a woman in her 20s who had long been concerned about freckles around her eyes and cheekbones.

However, to maintain the results for a long time, it’s important to manage not only the freckles visible on the surface, but also the underlying pigment deeper in the skin.

Let’s take a look at the actual skin photos and talk about how the treatment was done.

Yeongdeungpo Freckle Laser Treatment Before Skin Condition

This patient had been concerned about freckles around the eyes and cheekbone area for a long time, and recently became even more bothered by them, so she visited the clinic.

Before treatment, we first took Mark-Vu images to make a diagnosis.

In other words, it was not a condition where only the visible freckles needed to be removed; it was a skin condition that required simultaneous management of both surface pigment and underlying pigment to see long-term results.

Yeongdeungpo Freckle Laser Treatment Plan

Freckles are relatively close to the surface. However, if underlying pigment is also present, it is better to treat both together.

So rather than a short-term approach, we set a treatment direction that could address both freckles and underlying pigment.

Among laser treatments, the patient received Premium Dual Toning, and with Premium Dual Toning, two laser devices available in the clinic can be used in each session.

This patient was treated using a combination of Clarity, PicoSure, PicoPlus, and Hollywood Laser among several laser options.

Clarity is a laser with two wavelengths, 1064nm / 755nm, and can broadly address pigment from the epidermis to the dermis.

PicoSure and PicoPlus are picosecond ultra-short pulse lasers that break pigment particles into finer pieces, reducing skin irritation while increasing pigment removal efficiency.

They are especially effective for deeply located pigment such as underlying pigment.

Hollywood Laser works over a wide area with low intensity, helping to even out the overall skin tone and soften skin texture.

By combining multiple lasers step by step in this way, we planned a treatment approach that managed everything from surface pigment removal to underlying pigment treatment and overall tone correction.

Yeongdeungpo Freckle Laser Skin Condition After Treatment

Treatment was carried out over a total of 10 sessions across about 4 months.

By the second session, many of the freckles had peeled off, and the patient’s satisfaction was very high.

By the sixth session, the improvement was being maintained well, and since underlying pigment remained, the remaining sessions focused on treating that pigment.

By the tenth session, the treatment for underlying pigment was also completed well, and we could confirm that the overall skin tone had become clearer.

• Freckles widely distributed around the eyes and cheekbones were noticeably reduced

• The skin became clearer from within as underlying pigment was also treated

• The overall skin tone became more even and brighter

These were the changes we observed.

Today, we looked at a freckle treatment case in Yeongdeungpo.

Freckles may have pigment beneath what is visible on the surface. In such cases, managing the underlying pigment together is necessary to expect freckles removal results.
