Yeongdeungpo Rejubelek
Meaning, effects, and reviews—curious about it?

“Rejubelek skin booster,
is it something new?”
As the weather has recently become drier, many people are experiencing skin that feels rough and inner dryness.
For this reason, while looking into skin boosters, many people come across Rejubelek.
Many people asked what kind of procedure it was, since the term felt familiar yet new.
To give you the conclusion first, Rejubelek is not a completely new procedure; rather, it is a concept that combines Rejuran and Juvelook.
So today, I’ll briefly explain what kind of procedure Rejubelek is, and why Rejuran and Juvelook are used together.

Why get Rejubelek together?
First, let me explain what Rejubelek means.
Rejubelek is the name for a skin booster procedure in which Rejuran (Rejuran Healer) + Juvelook are administered at the same time (or mixed together).
Hearing it this way, you may wonder why the two procedures are performed together.
It becomes much easier to understand if you look at the role of each one separately.

First, let’s look at Rejuran. Rejuran is a procedure focused on skin regeneration.
A PN ingredient derived from salmon is injected into the dermis layer of the skin.
This ingredient works to restore damaged skin tissue and stabilize the skin environment itself.
To put it more simply, it improves the skin’s ability to hold moisture, and as the skin barrier becomes more balanced, fine lines and rough skin texture are overall softened and improved.

On the other hand, Juvelook is a procedure that affects the structural aspects of the skin, somewhat differently from Rejuran.
The PDLLA ingredient induces collagen production within the skin.
Through this process, skin density gradually increases, and areas that looked sunken become naturally filled in, creating improvements in elasticity.

If you look at the roles separately like this, it becomes a little easier to understand why the two procedures are used together.
Rejuran first improves the skin environment, moisture condition, and barrier, and then Juvelook forms collagen on top of that, helping create elasticity and volume.
In other words, because regeneration, elasticity, and volume can all be improved together, many people consider the two procedures together.
In practice as well, there are many responses such as, “My skin texture feels more refined and my elasticity seems better.”

Are there any side effects?
Since Rejubelek is also a procedure performed by injection, some reactions can appear after treatment.
Common examples include embossing, where the skin becomes bumpy immediately after the procedure, as well as mild swelling or bruising.

These reactions are mostly temporary, so they usually subside naturally after about 1 to 3 days.
However, in rare cases, the medication may not spread evenly within the skin and may remain in certain areas, causing a hard-feeling nodule.
To reduce such side effects, the hydration process is important.

Hydration simply means the process of adding saline, etc. to powdered Juvelook so it is fully dissolved without clumps and made into a uniform state.
If this process is not done sufficiently, undissolved particles may remain and clump together in the skin, or resistance during injection may increase, making the pain feel stronger.
Therefore, if you are considering a skin booster procedure, it is good to know these processes and principles in advance.

When do the effects start to appear?
This is also something many people are curious about.
First, with Rejuran, many people feel that their skin texture becomes more refined and moisturized starting about 2 weeks after the procedure.
This is because the recovery of damaged skin tissue and the improvement of moisture retention begin in earnest around this time.

On the other hand, Juvelook takes a bit more time.
Collagen production starts at around the 2-week mark, but noticeable changes in elasticity or volume usually appear gradually between 4 and 8 weeks.
However, the time when you feel the effect can vary depending on individual skin condition and the number of treatments, so it is best to understand this as a rough reference.
Today, I wrote this post for those who are curious about Yeongdeungpo Rejubelek.
In summary, Rejubelek is a procedure that tends to be relatively satisfying for people whose skin is dry and rough and whose elasticity has also decreased.

However, honestly, I would not recommend getting it blindly just because other people say it is good, regardless of your own skin condition.
This is because the approach can differ quite a bit depending on whether your skin currently needs more regeneration or whether elasticity and volume improvement are more urgent.
So if you are considering the procedure, I hope you first check your current skin condition and choose a direction that fits it.
