Hello :)
We are Forena Clinic,
supporting your healthy dermatology experience~!

Starting today, weβll be introducing precautions you can refer to for each dermatology procedure!
Weβll also give a brief explanation of the procedure.

The first procedure weβll look at is Y-CO!
It is known as a nose bridge contouring procedure, along with nose filler.

What is Y-CO?
It is a procedure that improves the nose bridge area to look more three-dimensional by inserting dissolvable threads into the nose and pulling them upward.
It is a procedure in which medical staff design the most suitable shape for each individualβs nose to create a smooth nose line.
The most distinctive feature of Y-CO is the unique thread shape, which has two types of protrusions.
However, it is advisable to choose a place with extensive procedural experience and post-procedure care, and if you usually have nasal inflammation, you should undergo the nose procedure after thorough consultation.
The precautions before and after the procedure are as follows.

Before the procedure
-
Check information about the procedure in advance, and make sure you do not have any relevant conditions, allergies, or other medical history related to the procedure.
-
Be aware that minor or major side effects may occur depending on the individual, and after consulting with professional medical staff, please fully understand the side effects and precautions before proceeding.
-
This procedure uses dissolvable threads. Excessive or indiscriminate procedures may cause side effects, so before the procedure, be sure to decide after μΆ©λΆν consultation with medical staff who have extensive experience and know-how in this field.
-
Please fully consider the most suitable procedure for your situation, including nose filler and surgical rhinoplasty, before proceeding.

After the procedure
-
On the day of the procedure, only a gentle water wash is recommended in the evening. After 24 hours, a light shower is allowed. It is recommended to keep the tape attached to the treated area until the skin heals.
-
To help prevent inflammation and reduce pain, please take the prescribed medication consistently for 3 to 5 days. If you have a history of antibiotic allergies, please be sure to inform the clinic.
-
For 7 days after the procedure, please avoid alcohol, saunas, jjimjilbang visits, hot baths, and strenuous exercise.
-
Bruising, swelling, pain, and a foreign-body sensation may occur, but most of these symptoms improve within 1 to 2 weeks. However, if the pain gradually worsens even after taking the prescribed medication, or if changes in skin color, itching, or a feeling of heat persist, please contact the clinic and visit for evaluation.
-
In some cases, depending on the skin condition, the thread may protrude outside the skin at the treatment area. In this case, please do not touch it with your hands, and visit the clinic to receive appropriate treatment.
