Hello :)
We are Forena Clinic,
supporting your healthy dermatology experience~!

This time, among dermatology procedures,
we’ll take a look at Dermotoxin,
a type of skin Botox!
If you have any questions beyond this blog post, please leave a comment!

The first procedure to look at is Dermotoxin!
It is known as a type of skin Botox!

What is Dermotoxin?
It is a compound word made from skin + botulinum toxin, and simply put,
it is a type of skin Botox that injects Botox into the skin.
The Botox we usually know is injected into the "muscle layer," while skin Botox is injected into the "skin."
Accordingly, it may help improve elasticity and improve facial redness and pores.
It may also help improve fine lines by acting on the muscles beneath the skin.
The precautions before/after the procedure are as follows.

Before the procedure
-
You should check your own condition before undergoing the procedure, and if you have inflammation or an infection, it is recommended to postpone the procedure.
-
Starting one week before the procedure, you should avoid taking medications that may interfere with blood circulation in order to prevent bleeding or bruising.
-
On the day of the procedure, you should proceed after thoroughly washing your face, and you should receive the procedure with all makeup, lotion, cream, and other products removed.
-
You should fully review information about the procedure and check whether you have any history of allergies or other relevant conditions.
-
Please be aware that minor or major side effects may occur depending on the individual, and after consulting with a medical professional, please fully understand the side effects and precautions before proceeding.

After the procedure
-
After the procedure, swelling, bruising, itching, and redness may occur, and these will gradually disappear over a period of 1 to 2 weeks. Symptoms may vary from person to person, and if they last for a long time, please visit the clinic.
-
A swollen feeling may appear in the treatment area for several hours.
-
The skin may become dry after the procedure and trouble spots may develop, so sufficient hydration and skin stabilization are necessary.
-
There is a risk of inflammation after the procedure, so please avoid drinking alcohol and smoking for one week.
-
You may wash your face after the procedure, but please cleanse the treated area gently. After the procedure, please avoid saunas, steam rooms, hot baths, and similar activities.
I want to know about other procedures too!
