Hello :)
You’ve probably heard the name Ulthera many times, but didn’t know what kind of device it is, right?
We’re Forena Clinic, here again today to help answer your questions~!

Today, we’ll take a look at
the well-known ultrasound lifting device,
Ulthera!

This is the third installment in our series on dermatology treatment devices.
It’s Ulthera!

Ulthera development began in 2004, and it was first released after receiving FDA approval in 2009.
It is said that the product was introduced after five years of development and clinical testing!

Basic information about Ulthera
Ulthera has dedicated tips that can be used depending on the depth and condition of the skin layers,
and Ulthera treatment uses Visualized Micro-Focused Ultrasound (MFU-V)
to provide a non-invasive treatment that can be customized according to the skin layer.
Ulthera® enables treatment at multiple depths, including 1.5 mm, 3.0 mm, and 4.5 mm,
so it targets various areas such as the target tissue (dermis, SMAS layer).

Treatment process
STEP 1
Diagnose by checking the tissue layers inside the skin in real time
STEP 2
Based on the results, establish a customized treatment plan
according to the individual’s skin condition
STEP 3
Proceed with the treatment on the desired tissue area
In broad terms, the procedure is carried out through these three steps!
So, we’ve briefly looked at the treatment device!
We’re also planning to prepare a post about Ulthera Prime soon!
If there’s any other dermatology information you’re curious about or want to know,
please feel free to let us know anytime!
Notable point
If you check the Ulthera website, you can easily search for and use clinics that offer genuine treatments!
So if you want to check whether the dermatology clinic you plan to visit uses genuine products,
it may be helpful to verify it!
