Hello :)
This is the time to talk about skin concerns, where we cover a variety of skin issues from the perspective of Forena.

Today’s concern is hyperhidrosis, a condition that causes a lot of stress for many people!
Many people with hyperhidrosis want to relieve the stress it causes themselves.
So let’s learn a little more about it today too!

The skin concern we’ll look at this time is hyperhidrosis.
It causes stress for many people, and since summer is just around the corner, I wanted to cover it!

What is hyperhidrosis?
There are more people around us than you might think who struggle with hyperhidrosis.
Hyperhidrosis is a condition in which excessive sweating occurs beyond the body’s normal temperature regulation range.
It mainly occurs in specific areas such as the hands, feet, and underarms,
and can cause inconvenience in daily life and psychological stress.
If you feel uncomfortable because of hyperhidrosis,
it is a good idea to consult a specialist and receive appropriate treatment.

Main causes
Genetic factors
If there is a family history, the likelihood of developing hyperhidrosis is higher.
Abnormalities in the sympathetic nervous system
Excessive activation of the sympathetic nervous system can increase sweat secretion.
Underlying conditions
Hyperthyroidism, diabetes, and neurological disorders can cause hyperhidrosis.
Psychological factors
Anxiety, tension, and stress can stimulate sweat secretion.

Main symptoms
Localized hyperhidrosis
Sweating is concentrated in specific areas such as the hands, feet, underarms, and face.
Generalized hyperhidrosis
Excessive sweating occurs throughout the body.
Inconvenience in daily life
Sweat can make it difficult to hold objects with your hands, cause eczema on the feet,
or leave your clothes wet, among other inconveniences.
Psychological difficulties
You may worry that your sweat will make others uncomfortable,
or have difficulty in social relationships.

Known prevention methods
Stress management
It is good to manage stress through regular exercise, meditation, and similar activities.
Wear well-ventilated clothing
Wear clothing that absorbs sweat well and allows good airflow
to help keep the skin dry.
Use sweat-absorbing products
It is good to use sweat-absorbing pads or powder to absorb sweat.
Avoid spicy foods
Spicy or hot foods can stimulate sweat secretion, so it is best to avoid them.
Hyperhidrosis is something you cannot truly understand unless you experience it yourself.
Because it can also be triggered by psychological factors,
I hope you can have days where, even while going through difficult times, you can feel at least a little mentally at ease.
That’s all for today!
