"Milia, syringoma, warts, acne, and skin tags โ Iโll explain them all! ๐ฅ"

I also looked into this personally,
but even though there are many posts grouped like
milia / syringoma
warts / acne
there arenโt many places where you can see everything at once!
Of course, even if they all seem similar, they are very different medically!
Iโll group them together and explain them in an easy-to-read way,
but please be careful not to confuse them with one another or think of them as the same type!

Please tell me about milia!
Milia are small,
white or yellow, grain-of-rice-like cysts that form in the shallow layers of the skin.
Inside these cysts is not sebum, but a buildup of keratin.
They are commonly seen on the face, especially around the eyes, cheeks, and eyelids!
Primary milia:
These often develop without any particular reason.
They occur naturally.
Secondary milia:
These develop after trauma or inflammation of the skin.
In this case, they originate from structures such as hair follicles or sweat glands.

Please tell me about syringoma!
Syringoma is a benign tumor that forms in the dermis
because the ducts of sweat glands become excessively proliferative.
People often visit a clinic for cosmetic reasons, and it is not a harmful condition to health.
The exact cause of its development has not yet been identified.
The difference from milia is that syringoma is a proliferation of sweat gland tissue located in the dermis,
and because it is deeply seated, it is difficult to remove with simple expression!
Milia form in the superficial layers and contain keratin buildup.
They can also be removed by expression!

Please tell me about warts too
Warts are skin conditions caused by infection with the human papillomavirus (HPV),
and they are divided into various types depending on the area and appearance.
There are many types, such as common warts, flat warts, palmar and plantar warts, and genital warts (condyloma),
and because they are contagious,
you can see that they can spread to other areas or to other people!
They can spread to others, and in the case of condyloma, they are well known as a sexually transmitted disease,
so among all the skin conditions Iโll explain today, they have the worst image!
I do not recommend removing any of the benign tumors Iโll introduce today on your own,
but I especially hope you consult a specialist before removing warts.

I already know about acne~
You may not know everything... There are many types!
Acne is a chronic inflammatory disease. It mainly appears in areas with well-developed sebaceous glands,
such as the face, chest, and back! From adolescence to adulthood,
it follows us around and causes stress.
It is broadly divided into comedonal acne (comedones) / pustular acne (inflammatory acne),
and the whiteheads and blackheads explained earlier are comedonal acne!
Papular, pustular, nodular, and cystic acne are included in pustular acne!
Acne requires not only professional treatment, but also management of lifestyle habits,
and if left untreated, it can easily leave scars and pigmentation, so it needs to be managed well!

What are skin tags?
Skin tags are a type of benign tumor that forms on the skin,
and medically they are called soft fibromas or soft fibroepithelial polyps!
They are characterized by small, soft flesh-like bumps that protrude from the skin!
Skin tags can look similar to warts at first glance,
but they are not related to viral infection, so they are not contagious!
Accordingly, they are not usually classified as a dangerous condition.
However, because something that looks similar may turn out to be the dangerous one (a wart),
if you have any suspicion, I recommend consulting a specialist!

There are so many types!
Thatโs right...! Iโll share them in a table!
If itโs too crowded and hard to see, Iโve arranged it so you can save it and look at it later, so please refer to that!

Canโt you just tell us with photos?
I could explain with photos or images,
but
photos may actually make things more confusing, like with warts and skin tags, or milia and syringoma,
and I thought it might confuse people or not be that helpful for those who are concerned,
so Iโll share them only in table form~!
There are many photos on the internet, but donโt judge things on your own;
please use them only as a reference, visit a dermatology clinic, and find out what skin problem you have
I hope you can properly understand it and then solve it!
Mapo Forena Clinic also provides extraction procedures, pigmentation treatments, and CO2 laser treatments,
but please note that you will need to inquire about whether other procedures are available!

There are so many adjectives that go along with skin type or constitution...
A subscriber said they wanted to know them all at once, so I prepared this!
Please look forward to it~
Well, today too, we learned about various skin-related topics!
