"Precautions for Potenza Agnes: Forena Clinic in Hongdae Shares the Details."
Forena Clinic

Today’s post is about precautions with a twist!
Let’s get right into it!

Potenza + Agnes? What is that?

What is Potenza Agnes?
Originally, Agnes is a separate medical device developed for the purpose of destroying sebaceous glands and sweat glands.
Just as Allergan’s Botox has become a common noun,
the name Agnes is also used in a similar way as the name of a dermatology procedure.
Potenza has a variety of microneedle tips,
and among them is a "One-Needle" tip that functions similarly to Agnes.
This tip has a single needle and is used to deliver radiofrequency energy intensively to specific areas,
such as sebaceous glands or syringomas (sweat gland tumors).
It refers to a procedure that uses Potenza equipment to destroy sebaceous glands using a principle similar to "Agnes,"
and it is mainly used to intensively treat specific skin lesions such as acne, pores, and syringomas.
Now let’s look at when you might consider it or who it is for!

When you’re considering Potenza
01 When you are concerned about acne and acne scars
02 When you are concerned about enlarged pores
03 When you are concerned about dull skin tone and uneven skin texture
04 When you are bothered by facial redness
05 When you want to address multiple skin concerns at once
Please be aware that small or large side effects may occur depending on the individual,
and before receiving the procedure, be sure to consult with a medical professional and fully understand the possible side effects and precautions before proceeding.

After the procedure
01
01
Immediately after the procedure, redness, warmth, swelling, and stinging may appear in the treated area due to radiofrequency heat. This is a natural phenomenon and usually improves within a few days.
02
When a microneedle tip is used, tiny scabs may form in the treated area. To avoid scarring, these scabs should not be forcibly removed and should be allowed to fall off naturally.
03
In rare cases, severe side effects such as dermatitis, folliculitis, or blisters may occur. If these symptoms develop, contact the clinic where you received the procedure immediately and receive professional treatment.
Please be aware that small or large side effects may occur depending on the individual,
and before receiving the procedure, be sure to consult with a medical professional and fully understand the possible side effects and precautions before proceeding.
Today, we looked at the precautions for the Potenza One-Needle, also called Potenza Agnes!
