Forena Clinic

This was one of the basic procedures we should have covered earlier.
I feel bad that I’m telling you about it so lateㅠㅠ
But now that it’s here, you’ll forgive me, right?

What exactly is this procedure?

An “acne inflammation injection” is a local treatment commonly performed in dermatology clinics
to quickly and effectively calm severe inflammatory acne.
Ingredients: It is used by diluting triamcinolone, a corticosteroid medication,
in normal saline, etc.
Principle: By using the strong anti-inflammatory effect of steroids,
it directly injects into the acne lesion to quickly suppress the inflammatory response and
reduce pain and swelling.
Usually, inflammation begins to gradually subside within about 2 to 3 days after the injection,
and it can help minimize progression into scarring as the inflammation worsens.
Now, let’s look at when you might consider it or who it is for!

When to consider an inflammation injection
01 When acne shows active inflammatory reactions
02 When you feel acne needs to be calmed down
03 If you are worried about scars caused by squeezing acne
04 When there is a pus-filled, swollen pustular acne lesion
05 When it has formed deeply in the skin like a nodule and is difficult to squeeze out
Please be aware that side effects of varying degrees may occur depending on the individual,
and before receiving the procedure, be sure to consult with a medical professional and fully understand the side effects and precautions before proceeding.

After the procedure
01
Because inflammation injections have a strong anti-inflammatory effect, please be careful not to repeat injections in the same area at short intervals.
02
On the day of the procedure, be careful not to rub or irritate the injection site strongly.
03
Immediately after the procedure, depending on the individual, temporary side effects such as dimpling (atrophy) may appear.
Recovery time varies from person to person.
Please be aware that side effects of varying degrees may occur depending on the individual,
and before receiving the procedure, be sure to consult with a medical professional and fully understand the side effects and precautions before proceeding.
