If the catchy title drew you in, welcome!

Just like the misconceptions and facts we looked at last time about Botox,
fillers are also an easy-to-access procedure, so there are many misunderstandings and rumors about them!
Let’s take a look right away!

Should bruising be normal after a filler procedure?
This is a common and typical reaction, but bruising does not have to happen!
Even if it is not a filler procedure, when receiving an injection or getting a vaccination,
we can often experience bruising at the injection site.
So while it is one of the common outcomes, bruising does not always occur.
Also, in the case of filler procedures specifically, the absence of bruising
may indicate that the procedure was performed safely without damaging blood vessels.
However, the reason for bruising may not simply be that the procedure or injection went wrong,
and it can also be one of the natural results depending on the individual’s skin condition!

Because of gravity,
does filler “flow down” over time?
Sometimes people say that filler can also flow downward inside the skin because gravity causes a loss of elasticity,
which affects the skin and wrinkles.
This is not entirely impossible, but there is a slight misunderstanding.
In the case of early fillers in the past, this kind of problem did exist,
but most modern fillers have a structure that binds with tissue,
so if the shape is set well right after the procedure, it does not easily flow down.
However, the skin and soft tissue themselves sag due to gravity, and this can be misunderstood as “the filler flowing down.”

Can hyaluronic acid filler
not be dissolved 2 weeks after the procedure?
Whether hyaluronic acid filler can be dissolved or not is not strongly related to the length of time that has passed.
It can be broken down and removed with a dedicated enzyme injection, regardless of time.
However, if a very long time has passed since the procedure,
if there are issues with the skin condition or personal condition at the time you want it dissolved,
or if it cannot be completely removed all at once,
those situations can occur.
Since judging the above on your own is very dangerous,
it is important to consult a specialist.
We also recommend first consulting the clinic where you had the filler procedure done.

Is a more expensive filler
more effective??
When there are many different product types for the same procedure, such as fillers or Botox,
these kinds of misunderstandings can arise.
Of course, there are cases where it may be better or superior in terms of safety or ingredients.
But as explained in an earlier comparison post,
being expensive does not mean it includes every function.
For example, it is like not being able to eat a morning roll because the expensive bakery doesn’t sell it..
and having to buy the morning roll from a cheaper neighborhood bakery with better value.
So rather than just price, the main effect, the medical staff, and the procedure method are more important.

If you get lip filler,
can’t you kiss,,?
Surprisingly, this is actually one of the questions we sometimes receive.
First, if you think about it calmly, you’ll often see instructions after lip filler asking you to avoid strong stimulation to the treated area..!
I’m not sure what counts as kissing,,
but a light kiss where the lips only touch should probably be okay..
Actually, from Forena Clinic’s perspective,
it seems better to avoid it for about 7 days, or for the recommended caution period depending on the filler product or procedure method ///ㅎ.ㅎ///

So, after Botox and filler, who’s next~!
