Then let’s get straight into the question you were curious about!

*The content in the video may vary depending on the individual’s condition and skin state.
We do not recommend anything!

🌟 There are many factors to beauty.
Beautiful eyes, a beautiful nose, a beautiful mouth
These are the things everyone wants when they come to a dermatology clinic.
But there is a condition of beauty that the questioner may be overlooking.
That is youth and naturalness.
The atmosphere and natural look that can only come from being in your early 20s
can sometimes be harmed by dermatology procedures.
That is why we do not generally recommend procedures overall.
Of course, there are exceptions.

🪞 However, if skin aesthetic care is needed
But if there are major skin concerns or trauma, the story changes.
This does not mean that someone with acne-related concerns should never receive dermatology procedures.
For example, if you were given a nickname because of a square jaw when you were young,
and if you were teased by friends, which lowered your self-esteem and caused trauma,
then it would of course be reasonable to recommend a procedure that improves the square jaw.
However, there are many things that only a specialist can judge, such as whether a procedure is truly necessary and how much treatment is needed for improvement,
so consultation is important.
At an early 20s age, it is always important to work toward improvement with the minimum necessary treatment,
so that the procedures do not become too excessive.
Then please tell me the reasons it is not recommended.

💡 Three reasons dermatology procedures are 'not recommended' in your early 20s
People often say, "Skin should be cared for from a young age," but
there are clear reasons why aggressive procedures are not recommended in your early 20s.
- You already have the best regenerative power
The skin in your early 20s has peak collagen-producing ability.
It already has enough power to heal and regenerate on its own,
but if you give it strong external stimulation (laser, lifting, etc.),
it can actually make the skin barrier more sensitive or thinner.
- Side effects of 'overcare'
If you start high-intensity lifting (Ulthera, Thermage, etc.) too early,
the effect may be reduced later when elasticity truly declines.
Also, bone structure changes or fat repositioning while growth has not yet fully finished
can damage the face’s natural volume.
- What matters more than procedures is 'basic habits'
At this stage, instead of expensive procedures, just wearing sunscreen, cleansing thoroughly,
and moisturizing sufficiently can change the fate of your skin in your 30s.
Rather than managing the skin aggressively with procedures,
'protective care' that maintains the current healthy condition is much more efficient.
