"Seoul Rhinoplasty Forum 2025" Academic Forum Lecture

Hello.
This is Miho Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Seok-ho Yoon
gave a lecture
at SRF 2025.
At this year's SRF 2025
(Seoul Rhinoplasty Forum),
broad topics were covered,
from basic rhinoplasty techniques
to complex revision surgery,
with lectures by experts
from various fields.

Among the speakers, Dr. Seok-ho Yoon
of Miho Plastic Surgery
gave a lecture on the topic of
"3D custom implants."

Through the lecture, he explained
why 3D custom implants
should be used:
① Precise design and production of the implant
from CT analysis through manufacturing,
all in one process
② Minimizing complications such as
implant displacement and bending
by matching the implant precisely to the nose
③ Detailed contours and volume
④ Combining 30 years of implant manufacturing
technology with advanced 3D technology
⑤ Custom implants specialized for revision surgery
He emphasized the importance
of 3D custom implants
in this way.

He also discussed the following
features of 3D custom implants:
① Fine control of thickness
② Emphasis on the T-zone
③ Choice of silicone type
④ Greater variety of silicone shapes
By making use of these advantages,
he explained why it is important
for actual rhinoplasty patients
to receive implants that are
more detailed and precisely fitted.

Although 3D custom implants
have many advantages,
the patient's individual skin thickness
and functional anatomy
must first be assessed,
and the 3D custom implant
should be selected
according to careful and systematic criteria.

After concluding the SRF 2025 lecture,
we reflected once again
on the importance of 3D custom implants
and will share more detailed
and new activities at the next forum.
