You set out determined to have an energetic day,
but every person you meet asks if you’re tired
and repeats the same concern.
Some of you may have experienced this more than once.
Or, if the upper eyelid blocks your field of vision,
you may have developed the habit of lifting your brows,
and deep forehead wrinkles may have settled in.
At first, it may only feel inconvenient,
but as time goes by, various problems can arise,
such as skin irritation and redness from lashes
stabbing the eye.
If you want to resolve the functional issues
while restoring the position of the sagging eyelid,
you should consider a brow lift.

- What is a brow lift?
It refers to a lifting procedure that makes an incision
along the border below the eyebrow and pulls up
the sagging skin and muscle.
It does not affect the original double eyelid crease,
and because it improves aging and wrinkles,
it can be an attractive option for restoring
a natural-looking eye shape.
Some people worry about scars, but the eyebrow hair
naturally covers the area, and by smoothing the area
from the brow bone to the eyelid, it creates a brighter look.
In this way, a brow lift is advantageous when you want
to keep your double eyelids clear and maintain your
original eye line.

- Forehead lift and brow lift?
Just as people easily divide them into upper and lower,
the approach from above can be considered a forehead lift,
while the approach from below can be considered a brow lift.
The difference between the two goes beyond the incision site
and also shows a very different approach to improving facial expression.
If the brows sit low, are too close together and make the face
look cramped, or if there is significant asymmetry between the two sides,
the upper approach can improve the shape while also smoothing
glabellar wrinkles.
On the other hand, a brow lift approaches from below
and corrects only the eyelid while preserving it as it is.

- How is it different from upper blepharoplasty?
At this stage, many people wonder how it differs from lower blepharoplasty,
so we prepared an explanation.
If the eyelids are thick and sagging,
and you want to open your eyes wider,
or if you want to create a double eyelid that you did not have before,
you should choose lower blepharoplasty, which improves the area in question.
On the other hand, if you want to preserve the existing double eyelids
while improving sagging in the entire brow area, the outer corners of the eyes,
and even up to the forehead, a brow lift is far more appropriate.
Whether the focus is on the eyes alone or on achieving a natural overall lift
depends on each person’s desired direction, and the efficient method will differ.

To summarize, if you want a natural and relaxed impression
through an overall lift that includes the forehead and glabella,
a forehead lift is suitable.
But if you want to remove sagging skin and fat from the eyelids
while creating a double eyelid line to improve the eye shape,
upper blepharoplasty is the right choice.
A brow lift lifts only the eyelids and brow area,
keeping the eye line intact while smoothing wrinkles.
It also properly lifts the outer corners of the eyes,
transforming them into a clearer eye shape.
Therefore, it is important to understand the advantages and disadvantages
of the three methods properly and approach the one that fits your situation.

- Who needs a brow lift?
It is suitable for people who are already satisfied
with their eye shape, especially if they are pursuing natural results.
From a functional standpoint, it is also for people whose eyelids
have dropped and make it hard to see ahead, as well as those whose skin
has folded over and become irritated.
It is also for people who have developed wrinkles
from forcefully lifting the forehead and eyes to secure their field of vision.
In particular, if the outer brow area and the outer corners of the eyes
have sagged significantly, making the face look cramped and tired,
it is worth considering.
If the skin is thin or there is not much fat,
a lifting procedure may be better than upper blepharoplasty,
and a wider distance between the eyes and brows can also
lead to favorable results.

The procedure time on the day of treatment is very short,
about 1 hour.
It is performed under local anesthesia and can be carried out quickly
without hospitalization.
Based on the tests and consultation conducted in advance,
a one-on-one customized improvement plan is established,
and on the day of the procedure, the skin along the border below
the eyebrow is finely incised according to that plan.
After organizing the sagging skin, fat, and, if necessary,
the corrugator muscle, the area is pulled upward and firmly fixed
to the fascia, then the subcutaneous tissue and skin are secured
before suturing, in that order, to complete the brow lift.
Once finished, you can be discharged the same day,
and you will need to return 5 to 7 days later to have the stitches removed.

Looking at the recovery period by stage,
from immediately after the procedure through day 3,
swelling and bruising are severe, but pain is relatively mild,
so you can manage it with cold compresses.
Washing your face and showering are possible from day 1 or 2,
excluding the sutured area, and from day 4 to 7,
the swelling subsides significantly, so you may return to daily life.
During weeks 1 to 2, most of the swelling has gone down,
and both makeup and contact lenses are possible.
Applying warm compresses at this stage helps manage any remaining swelling.
It is important to avoid strenuous exercise and excessive facial expressions.
From 1 to 3 months, the scar fades and the eye shape settles into place.

With the belief that safety is the most important value,
above all else, a central monitoring system is operating to observe
and monitor the customer’s vital signs in real time.
All procedures are recorded on CCTV, and the defining feature is
immediate response to emergencies.
An anesthesiology specialist is always on site to provide safe care,
and the attending physician is directly responsible for everything
from the initial consultation to the procedure and follow-up,
operating under a real-name system.
Post-procedure care is carried out thoroughly according to the manual,
and the structure is designed for quick action in emergencies.

When you go through a consultation, it has become quite common lately
for people to come in after already searching through many reviews
and studying information, having already decided what method seems
right for them.
However, beyond what you can observe on your own, it is important
to choose a satisfying option based on a variety of clinical experiences
and data.
If you want to make sagging eyelids look clearer while pursuing natural results,
the process must also be safe.
Depending on the situation, a brow lift can be performed alone,
or other procedures can be done at the same time, so please feel free
to visit for a consultation.
