Hello,
I’m Director Lee Bo-hyung of Note Plastic Surgery.
Today, we’ll take a detailed look at post-op precautions after double eyelid surgery, including eyeliner tattooing, drinking, exercise, and more.
Q. When can I start doing these things?

Eyeliner tattooing or eyelash extension procedures
actually do not directly affect the surgery itself,

but because the area may be pulled strongly during the procedure or become quite swollen,
we recommend having it done after one month.

Alcohol does not actually have a very large effect on the results of eye surgery,
so we usually say it’s okay to drink after about 3 to 4 days,

but there is still a chance that it can increase the early inflammatory response or swelling.
If you want to reduce swelling as quickly as possible,

and recover quickly,
we still recommend avoiding alcohol for about two weeks.

Light walking is effective for reducing swelling,
so we recommend it starting right after surgery,

but for running or strenuous exercise,
we recommend starting after about three weeks.
