Q. Is there a self-check method to see who is suitable for eye corner surgery?

For epicanthoplasty and lower outer canthoplasty, use a cotton swab at home
For lower canthoplasty, pull it toward the front and horizontally, and for outer lower canthoplasty, pull it toward the outer lower direction

If you adjust the angle and pull the outer corner of the eye,
you can predict what it will look like after surgery.

For epicanthoplasty, you would pull the inner corner of the eye horizontally.

What you should consider here is
the distance between the eyes and the degree of exposure of the pink tissue in the center, called the caruncle.

Lower outer canthoplasty
lowers the outer corner of the eye toward the lower outer direction.

The shape changes depending on how much is adjusted,
so you can see how it looks after the change and adjust the amount of correction accordingly.

The most important thing here is that if the predicted shape after surgery
satisfies your own subjective aesthetic preference, I tend to recommend the surgery,

and if it does not feel satisfying, I do not recommend it.
