Hello,
I’m Lee Bo-hyung, Director of Note Plastic Surgery.
Q. What is forehead lift surgery?

Forehead lift surgery may feel a little unfamiliar,
and you may think of it as a larger operation,

but put simply, it is a lifting surgery that makes an incision along the forehead line and lifts it.

Through this, it is a surgery that slightly lifts the eyebrows and the eyelids,
and that is how you can think of it.

When you hear the word “lift,” it may somehow sound like a very major surgery,
and like a procedure that only older people should undergo,
but that is not necessarily the case.

We recommend it in cases where the skin above the eyelids feels thick and heavy,
or when the distance between the eyes and the eyebrows is narrow.

When someone who needs a forehead lift only gets double eyelid surgery,
although the crease is formed, the distance between the eyes and the eyebrows may still appear narrow,

or the sagging skin may cover the double eyelid,
so the heavy-looking eyes may still not improve.

If a crease is made directly on thick skin,
a very sausage-like, thick double eyelid can form,
which may create an unnatural-looking eye shape.

Therefore, in such cases,
we recommend forehead lift surgery together.
