Hello, I’m Dr. Lee Bo-hyung from Note Plastic Surgery.
Today, I’d like to talk about rhinoplasty without implants.
Among those considering rhinoplasty, this is a surgical method that many people look into because they are reluctant to use an artificial implant called silicone.
Let’s look at how the surgery is performed and what kinds of cases it is suitable for.
Q. What is rhinoplasty without implants?

In general, when performing nose surgery, the bridge is raised by inserting silicone.

For the nasal tip, cartilage tissue such as septal cartilage, ear cartilage, or rib cartilage is used to create the shape.

Rhinoplasty without implants means not using an artificial material implant,
that is, silicone.

It refers to cases in which the bridge is not raised and only the nasal tip is operated on using human tissue,
that is, septal cartilage, ear cartilage, autologous rib cartilage, or donated rib cartilage.
