Hello, I’m Director Lee Bo-hyung of Note Plastic Surgery.
Today, I’ll talk about forehead lifting, a surgery that goes well with double eyelid surgery.
Q. EBL, forehead lift surgery

Forehead lift surgery may feel a little unfamiliar,
and you may think of it as a larger surgery,

but simply put, it is a lifting surgery that makes an incision along the forehead line and lifts it.

In other words, you can think of it as a surgery that slightly lifts the eyebrows and eyelids.

When you hear the word lifting, it may sound like a very big surgery
and like something only older people should undergo,
but that is not necessarily the case.

It is recommended for cases where the skin above the eyelids feels thick and heavy,
or when the distance between the eyes and eyebrows is narrow.

For people who should have forehead lifting, if they only undergo double eyelid surgery,
although the line is created, the distance between the eyes and eyebrows may still look narrow,

or because sagging skin covers the double eyelid,
the heavy-looking eye shape may not improve.

If a line is created directly on thick skin,
it can result in very sausage-like, thick double eyelids,
creating an unnatural eye shape.

Therefore, in such cases,
I would recommend combining it with forehead lifting.
