Hello, this is Dr. Lee Bo-hyung of Note Plastic Surgery.
Today, I’ll talk about
swelling to consider during the summer vacation season.
Q. How long does swelling last?

After surgery, you still have to travel,
and once September comes, classes start again,

so many people seem to think a lot about
"How much time should I leave between surgery and other plans?"

The time it takes for swelling to go down varies from person to person
and can also differ depending on the surgical method,

but basically, if you have eye or nose surgery,
you should allow at least two weeks.

Roughly speaking, two weeks to one month
is enough time for recovery,

and younger people tend to recover better,
so if they come in during summer vacation and have surgery,

for minors or college students,
I think two to three weeks is enough.
