Hello, this is Director Lee Bo-hyung of Note Plastic Surgery.
Today, I’ll talk about male nose surgery.
Q. Hump

If you are a man without a hump,
you can simply set the line and proceed with the surgery as it is.

Among the men I consult with,
it seems that more than half have a hump nose.

Also, because of this hump,
the nose tip tends to droop as well.

If the bridge is already high,
and you have a hump,

it is possible to perform surgery by removing the protruding bone and cartilage,
and using your own cartilage to

slightly lift the drooping nose tip.
If the bridge is low and there is a hump,

first the hump is removed,
then the bridge is raised with silicone,

and the nose tip is also reinforced and lifted using your own cartilage,
so that it matches the elevated bridge line.

That is how the surgery is performed.
Among the men who come in for consultations,

there are some who say they just want to shave down or remove the protruding hump.

That is possible, but as I mentioned earlier,
in most cases

the nose tip is also slightly drooped,
so performing the nose tip procedure together can give a much greater aesthetic effect.
