Today, I’ll talk about preoperative concerns

in a facelift case review.

Preoperative concerns

Today, we’ll take a look at the before-and-after photos of a patient who underwent a lifting procedure

and review the case together.

The patient was 73 years old and came in saying that their eyelids also seemed to be gradually drooping, which was uncomfortable,

and that although they weren’t sure what needed to be done, they wanted to look younger,

and hoped we could recommend some overall anti-aging surgery.

Preoperative condition

If you look at the preoperative photos, the first thing that stands out, as the patient mentioned,

is that the eyelids are heavily covering the eyes, and

you can see that the upper eyelid area is quite sunken.

In the photo, the nasolabial fold on the left side of the face is very noticeable, and on the same side,

the jowl line is also more sagging than on the left.

Overall, the skin shows sagging, but the right side appears to be

more severe than the left. Accordingly, if you look at the corners of the mouth,

you can see that they are sagging downward.
