After surgery

After surgery

After surgery

Today is exactly one month and three days after the surgery~! There is still some swelling, so it is not the exact shape yet, but so far I’m satisfied hehe.
I had the hump portion refined a bit, and only autologous cartilage was used for the nasal tip!
Although the hump was not very severe, it was a subtle complex of mine that made me avoid taking side-view photos at all times, ugh.
From the first visit to Kowon Plastic Surgery, what I felt was that the clinic’s interior
was clean and stylish, and from registration to consultation,
I felt great trust in the entire process and in the director’s kind and accurate consultation!
He listened carefully to the look I wanted, my expectations, and my concerns,
and explained the surgical method and the expected results in detail,
which greatly reduced my fear of surgery hehe.
On the day of surgery, my ear hurt a bit because ear cartilage was used, but my nose
was less painful than I expected!
I’m also looking forward to the regular follow-up checkups at the hospital after the surgery!
Now, about a month later, I really like the side profile more than I expected~ The front view still has swelling, so it does look a bit like a fat nose ugh.
When will it go down.... They say time heals everything, so I hope it goes down soonㅠㅠㅠㅠ
For those considering hump nose surgery, I really recommend Kowon!
Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart.
This is a review of Kowon Plastic Surgery’s revision rhinoplasty using autologous rib cartilage by user '냥이T1AUQ'.
Hello. I’m Kim Hyeong-taek, director of Kowon Plastic Surgery.
The patient I’m introducing this time was someone who had been troubled by a hump nose.
They were very worried because it gave a masculine and gloomy impression.

In fact, they already thought their nasal bridge was high, so they wanted to avoid touching the bridge as much as possible,
and also wanted surgery without implants, avoiding silicone or other prosthetics if possible.
After taking a CT scan and checking, we found that they also had a deviated septum and rhinitis.

While performing the surgery, we also planned to correct the deviated septum and improve that area through rhinitis surgery.
In addition, we decided not to insert any implant into the nasal bridge, and to preserve the bridge while lifting the nasal tip using ear cartilage.

Before forehead surgery

Also, although the nasal bridge was high, the forehead was flat, so there was some imbalance from the side view.

To resolve that, we finished the surgery by also performing fat grafting to supplement the forehead volume to match the nasal bridge.
