Hello. I’m Kim Hyeong-taek, the chief surgeon at Kowon Plastic Surgery.
In this answer note, a question was posted about nosebleeds after rhinoplasty.
I have answered that question.

Q. I’m on day 12 after rhinoplasty, and I’m worried about the scabs from nosebleeds.
For about the past two days, scabs from nosebleeds keep forming.
The nosebleed scab is blocking the inside of the nostril in the shape of the opening...
Because of that, breathing feels stuffy, so I’ve been using ointment and saline solution to wipe it just enough so I can breathe a little, but the scabs keep forming and it seems to get blocked again...
In the meantime, whenever I breathe through my nose, it feels like blood has splashed, and there are faint traces of blood on the side walls of the nose....ㅠ
When I spit out phlegm, there are also many times when a little blood is mixed inㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ
The blood isn’t actually flowing, so is it okay..?ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ
If you look at the question, it seems you had nose surgery about 12 days ago, and for the past two days scabs from blood have kept forming in your nose, so you posted the question because you were worried it might be a problem.
About 12 days after your nose surgery, a little bit may still come off.
If you feel too uncomfortable because of the scabs, it would be best to visit the hospital where you had the surgery and have the inside of your nose cleaned.
I hope you have a good result from the surgery.
