It has been two months since I had nose surgery at Kowon. Now people around me say my nose looks the prettiest and that everything has settled nicely.

To me too, it just feels like my nose now... haha

The case I will introduce this time is one in which the overall nose height was raised and the line was refined smoothly for a low hump nose.

Looking at the photos before surgery, the bridge of the nose is generally low, yet the nasal dorsum has a bumpy hump. The tip of the nose especially droops downward, making the nose look longer and creating a somewhat downcast impression.

Because the angle of the philtrum line (nasolabial angle) is recessed,

the midface appears sunken overall, and the mouth looks relatively protruded.

In cases like this where the nose is low and small, there is often not enough septal cartilage available. Also, because the patient wanted the tip to be made as defined and glamorous as possible, we decided to proceed with surgery using autologous rib cartilage.

Since it was also observed that the nose appeared to droop significantly when smiling, we performed correction of the depressor septi nasi muscle as well.

Looking at the surgical result, the mouth area appears much more natural.

The feeling that the mouth was protruding is gone, and the impression of the midface being sunken has improved.

The bumpy feeling of the hump nose has also become much smoother.

We completed the surgery while looking at the nose, which had become much more feminine and beautiful.
